Today’s horse racing tips look at a fantastic day of UK racing. There are some big highlights from York and Goodwood on the day.

The former hosts the Bronte Cup Fillies’ Stakes, while Haydock has the Group 2 fixtures of the Sandy Lane Stakes and Temple Stakes.

We have tips for each of those and a few others from Goodwood too.

We kick of today’s racing tips with 4/1 shot MAJESTIC DAWN* (betting odds recorded 21:32 GMT on May 21st 2021 at William Hill).

He hasn’t been seen since September, but we don’t think that is going to work against him in this one, even though he faces some match-fit opponents.

In September with the blinkers on for the first time, Majestic Dawn put in a superlative run to score the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket.

So we think she has a big shout on her return. The other big player in the field could be course winner DESERT ENCOUNTER who was second at Sandown a month ago on his reappearance.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

Looking down the field, the big two players appear to be BELIEVE IN LOVE and MIGHTY BLUE.

The latter has the advantage of having had a couple of runs already this season. But Believe In Love looks special.

She has won five of six races so far in her career and delivered a Group 3 win on her final effort of last year. Believe In Love hasn’t been seen since October however.

But we think MAKAWEE is more than capable of springing a success from 4/1* (betting odds recorded 21:32 GMT on May 21st 2021 at William Hill).

She had a very nice reappearance, claiming second in a Goodwood listed even just three weeks ago. There was a lot to like about that.

It hinted that the super consistency Makawee is ready to build on that, delivering more on her follow up.

Last summer she stepped up to Grade 2 and took a runner up spot. We think she has a say.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

HUKUM is running as the 4/6 odds-on favourite and he does look the class act in this field* (betting odds recorded 21:32 GMT on May 21st 2021 at William Hill).

He returns to action after a fourth place in his reappearance at Sandown. The extra trip will help.

But we think it’s just worth sliding towards Andrew Badling’s MORANDO as a 10/3 horse racing tip* (betting odds recorded 21:32 GMT on May 21st 2021 at William Hill).

He too had a reasonable return to action, lining up in the Ormonde Stakes.

The conditions are likely to help him here and if there’s more rain around, he could come further to the fore.

Morando wasn’t seen to full effect at Chester on his reappearance run. But he should be all the better for it, especially if the ground is testing on Saturday.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

Well, there are just claims all over the place for this fantastic Haydock fixture.

The undefeated DRAGON SYMBOL looks to be the one to beat as he goes for his fifth straight success. He does look like a fantastic prospect.

But we have a liking for 10/1 shot ROHAAN in the Sandy Lane Stakes* (betting odds recorded 21:32 GMT on May 21st 2021 at William Hill). He won four times over the winter on the all-weather.

On the turf at Ascot on his latest effort, he scored a great win in the Pavilion Stakes at this same distance. That was just over three weeks ago.

So we think that Rohaan has some fantastic claims in this super competitive field. He’s not without hope of outrunning his odds.

We are going with MONDAMMEJ as our horse racing tip at 6/1* (betting odds recorded 21:32 GMT on May 21st 2021 at William Hill).

He is a talented one, but not the most consistent. If he is caught right on the day, then Mondammej could have a big say in this one.

Mondammej was at course and distance on his latest effort, taking a third place behind Copper Knight who he opposes.

Of the first three, it was Mondammej who had actually shaped the best of them in the contest, which was 9 days ago.

He did have others that he reopposes behind him on the day and with Copper Knight dealing with a 5lb rise, with fancy Mondammej to turn the tables.

The claims run deep in this one and the Temple Stakes should be the highlight of the day.

We do have interest in the longer 8/1 shot that is JABBAROCKIE* (betting odds recorded 21:32 GMT on May 21st 2021 at William Hill).

He has had a fantastic start to the new campaign, scoring back to back races at Musselburgh and Chester. The difficulty goes up now, but he doesn’t look the type of sort to be out-battled.

At the head of the market LIBERTY BEACH has obvious claims. This will be her reappearance and did well in Group company last year. She was last seen in the Group 1 Prix de L’Abbaye in which she was third. She brings big claims.

The other with strong claims is KEEP BUSY who won at Hamilton on August and took to Group company quite well afterwards.
