Today’s horse racing tips focus on some of the top action that is coming up from Doncaster and Kelso on Saturday.
It’s a cracking day at Doncaster including the Doncaster Mile, the pick of the flat action.
From the National Hunt scene north of the border, there are a few hot Class 2 fixtures to look forward to.

Race Preview
GARRUS looks like one of the stronger selections going to the start in this one on Saturday.
He’s a good sprinter and back in August, he landed a Group 3 score in France.
He hasn’t found that level of performance the last twice, however.
Garrus takes a drop in distance on the weekend, which may just give him the boost he needs on his return after a break since last October.
DILIGENT HARRY looks to have a stack of potential and is likely going to give Garrus the most to think about.
Diligent Harry took a couple of place finishes in Group 3 last spring.
His final effort of the campaign went poorly at Ascot but excuses were there due to conditions underfoot.
BIELSA landed last year’s Ayr Gold Cup and he generally goes pretty well from fresh.
With a solid course and distance record behind him, he will likely have a chance of getting into the thick of things.

MOSTAWAA has been eased in weights and being teamed up with Silvestre De Sousa should give him a good chance.
There was a 1m success at Kempton for him last time and Mostawaa was third in last year’s renewal of this race.
Mostawaa was last seen in a 1m handicap 48 days putting in a credible run in defeat.
He needs a little revival, but he is not out of this.
EMPIRESTATEOFMIND has continued his very progressive journey in handicapping.
He was in superb shape last summer racing up three wins in 1m handicap efforts.
He hasn’t been out of the top two in any of his last six runs. Empirestateofmind is back after a long break.
STAR SHIELD is no forlorn hope in this one either as he has been in action over the winter.
Last season was a bust for him on the turf, but he claimed a Newcastle win on the AW in January.
Star Shields has been in the frame a couple of times from his current mark, so should have a bold run in him.

CHINDIT is the star attraction in this one and he is a former course winner, along with the highest rated runner on the flat here.
On last year’s reappearance, Chindit landed a Group 3 score at Greenham so there should be no problems with him coming back from a break.
BOOSALA scored a good course handicap win in November and rattled the crossbar at Newcastle on his follow up.
This is an interesting effort from him at the 1m effort and stepping away from handicapping could see him thrive.
ROYAL CHAMPION possesses the potential for a good campaign and he picked up a good win on his debut in the Autumn of 2020.
He hasn’t been since a poor effort in the Dante at York last summer.
But it’s low mileage and unexposed, but not totally out of the picture.

EMPIRE STEEL picked up a victory on his latest effort which was in a handicap effort here at Kelso a month ago.
Before that Empire Steel fell in the Rowland Meyrick when going well, before finding the Peter Marsh a little beyond him.
But the recent score signals a nice return to form and he looks to be a good one over the fences, so gets on the shortlist.
RATH AN IUIR has struggled a bit to get himself going this season.
It’s been two low-key efforts from him so far, most recently at Newcastle a month ago.
But Rath An Iuir does come down in distance, however, so may have a chance at something.
POTTERMAN needs to answer some questions, as he is more than capable, but has failed to complete three of his last four efforts. He has had a win since last seen.
BIG RIVER may well be the way to go in this one. The Veteran chaser has proven form and has won five times at Kelso before.
If he can handle this against the young ones, then there’s no reason why can’t get in this as he’s eased in grade.

ALIOMAANA was a winner at Winston a couple weeks ago. That was in a novice hurdle.
There should be more to come from her on the move to handicapping. Aliomaana looked improved on that latest run.
HASEEFAH was a good one on the flat and she got off the mark over the hurdles at the first time of asking in September at Market Rasen.
She hasn’t found that level since and struggled on her handicap debut at Newbury three months ago.
Alan King’s mare may have a chance to be refreshed as she’s in top hands.
TARAGRACE warrants plenty of respect as she is seeking a hattrick and enters this 2lb out of the handicap.
Those latest wins were handicap scores at Doncaster And Carlisle and she has looked nice and lively so gets on the shortlist.
THEATRE GLORY looks built for a good National Hunt career and has won three of four efforts.
The latest of those was an impressive score at Warwick in a novice effort a couple of months ago. There’s more to come in handicapping.

That was at Musselburgh in which he found only one too good.
That’s no reason to write him off, however, as he’s been hugely progressive.
SULTANS PRIDE has found some stunning form this season with four wins in five efforts.
The 10-year-old has come to life powered home to beat Teescomponents Lad last time out at Market Rasen three weeks ago.
Sultans Mark is now on a career-high mark but his form can’t be ignored.
KAIZER warrants a lot of presents here as he picked up a very impressive course and distance win in February.
On a shorter trip here on his follow up he rattled the crossbar as well. Kaizer is given a huge chance by the handicapper based on old form.
