For this horse racing preview, we largely dip into the action at Doncaster where there is some pattern company action happening.
The other selections come from flat handicap action at Kempton and Lingfield on this very busy Saturday.

We start the day’s tips with a small field in this Grade 2 at Doncaster and one big Cheltenham Festival contender lines up in it.
That is THIRD TIME LUCKI who will probably take some beating in this contest.
He does need a bounce back after missing out on a hat trick chase in the Henry VIII at Sandown a couple of months ago.
To be fair he was ridden rather aggressively which didn’t suit him. Third Time Lucki will probably be back in the frame.
DO YOUR JOB is no mug and was second behind Edwardstone at Kempton in the Wayward Lad Chase a month ago.
After opening his chasing career with a debut success at Warwick, he is no forlorn hope.
He will be tested if Third Time Lucky is back on song, though.
FOR PLEASURE rounds out the field and will look to push on from a chase debut success at Plumpton 47 days ago.
He’s no forlorn hope, but this looks like a big ask for him.

ANNA BUNINA warrants plenty of respect after a credible return to action at Musselburgh a month ago.
That was a fifth place finish for her there, but she looked like she needed the air in her lungs after a break.
MIRANDA won last year’s renewal of this and brings winning form to the table after a score at Ludlow on her latest effort.
That was in November but she only just about got there with a late challenge from top weight in the fixture. She’s high-quality and probably won’t be far away.
WESTERN VICTORY could be the best of the rest in this field having won three of her last six runs.
She should be stronger against her own sex and requires a bounce back after a poor effort at Ascot on her yard debut a week ago.
Too much was asked of her too early, but she is no forlorn hope.

BRIDGE NORTH offers plenty of interest in this field after landing a maiden at Ludlow three weeks ago.
That was after a good runner-up spot at the same venue in December when he was switched to handicapping.
Bridge North could have further progress to make and looks like a good stayer in the making potentially.
COOLBANE BOY is another that brings winning to proceedings on Saturday in this one.
His win came in a handicap hurdle at Musselburgh a month ago.
It was a comfortable win then and is already looking a good fit with his new yard.
UNANSWERED PRAYERS is the other one to look at for the horse racing betting shortlist. He looks like he can stay the 3m.
Unanswered Prayers was very impressive in landing a win at Wincanton on his latest effort.
There has been rapid improvement since opening the campaign with a maiden win at Uttoxeter.

15:20 Doncaster Handicap Chase Horse Racing Tip

FUSIL RAFFLES landed the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on his penultimate run.
He followed that up with a solid fourth-place finish on his handicap debut 49 days ago. That was in Grade 3 at Cheltenham.
Fusil Raffles did make a mistake in the race but looks to have further potential in the sphere.
CAP DU NORD hasn’t quite found his feet this season, certainly not getting back to the level he was at last season.
He churned out a poor effort at Kempton on his latest.
But Cap Du Nord is sliding in the weights and potentially one a decent mark.
There was a third-place finish for Cap Du Nord in this last year, granted when he was in better form, but claims are further boosted by a 3lb claimer.
DEBECE had a good run on his debut for Dan Skelton in March last year.
He looked well handicapped in that Sandown effort in which he finished as the runner-up.
There is a 10 month break that he needs to shrug off since then, but if he’s been tuned up then he could have a reasonable chance.

18:30 Kempton Handicap Horse Racing Tip
Race Type: Class 3 handicap
Age: 4-year-olds plus

IMPERIUM landed a course and distance success in December and followed up well on his latest run.
That latest effort was a small handicap field three weeks ago in which he finished third.
The pace of the race didn’t suit him as it was a little too warm.
Imperium would prefer the test of stamina and with cheekpieces on, warrants respect.
OCEANLINE has rattled the crossbar the last twice. The latter of those was three weeks ago at course and distance.
He is up just 1lb in the ratings and the youngster doesn’t look as if he is going to be far away from landing a gamble.
KING’S ADVICE is a former Kempton winner, but hasn’t taken a victory since 2019 anywhere.
GENERAL ZOFF was sixth at Wolverhampton 26 days ago. He won a couple of times last season but faces a couple of very good rivals in this one.

CHANCE is the odds-on favourite to win this small-field handicap. That looks reasonable.
Chance is sitting on a hat trick after scoring at the course and distance three weeks ago. There has been a rise of 3lb for him to deal with.
PALAVECINO was fifth in a Listed stakes effort at the course and distance in December.
He is a former course and distance winner. Palavecino really needs to be respected in this context because of the drop-in class.
DARK PINE will be the other to look at as he did show some kind of promise with three wins last year.
He was last seen three weeks ago in a conditions event at Wolverhampton, placing for the second time in a row there.
