Today’s horse racing tips for Saturday features some of the action from a big card that is happening at Ascot.
That’s a day of top action to come from there including the Grade 3 London Gold Cup Handicap Chase.
Newmarket and Wetherby are also in focus for Saturday’s horse racing because we get more Listed and Grade action to come from those venues.
It’s a huge day of racing on Saturday and we’ll get into it all with some of the fixtures from Ascot to start with.

Race Preview
One of the big features of Saturday’s racing is the Ascot London Gold Cup. VINNDICATION is back in action for what is his reappearance run.
He has a perfect record at Ascot having won all three previous visits and he took the London Gold Cup in 2019 as well.
He is up 7lb from that success.
Vinndication went well fresh at the start of last season, taking a runner spot in the Charlie Hall at Wetherby.
It’s good to see him back over the fences as the hurdles weren’t working out for him last season at all.
This is a competitive and wide-open renewal of the London Cup. JONHBB should be in the mix.
He took a good second place at Aintree on his final effort of last season.
That was after picking up a score at Wetherby on his seasonal reappearance so he can perform fresh.
Johnbb returns 3lb higher but commands respect in this field.
ONE MORE FLEURIE can’t be dismissed from this contest either. He was storming along coming up the grades last season.
It’s four wins in his last five efforts now.
The latest victory that One More Fleurie took was in a strong handicap at Ayr over a 3m distance.
One More Fleurie has been handed 10lb extra but can’t be counted out.

BOOTHILL is expected to deliver a bold run on Saturday winning his one previous go over the hurdles. That was at Taunton last winter.
But it was a very impressive run from him and form from that win has been comprehensively franked as well.
Boothill has been treated lightly for his handicap debut and should be right in the mix.
SOARING GLORY will take plenty of support but isn’t favoured in the weights. The stand-out piece of form from him was his fourth at the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Soaring Glory also romped to the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury. On paper, he should be right there, but it’s not going to be easy from his mark.
MEGAN was a faller on her reappearance three weeks ago at Chepstow in a handicap. But she was travelling well and is a juvenile hurdle winner.
Megan looks progressive enough to come into action as a lively outsider.
Others to keep an eye on are LEONCAVALLO who brings good form after a third in the Welsh Champion at Ffos Last two weeks ago, and ELHAM VALLEY who warrants each-way respect.

This should be an interesting contest, albeit with a small field in attendance. MAJESTIC DAWN rates as a danger after taking a Salisbury handicap win a month ago.
She won last year’s Cambridgeshire at this venue and looks to be in top form at the moment. Majestic Dawn is a fantastic front-runner.
BAY BRIDGE is aiming for a four-timer after coming into some big form this season.
The latest of his wins was three weeks ago at York. He easily looks built for bigger challengers.
MONTY claimed a Listed success at Strasbourg last time out and brings form from a higher level to the table.
There have been three successes for him in this campaign and may have enough to make his presence felt.

The great day of horse racing betting from Ascot continues with this handicap chase which looks like being super competitive.
EDITEUR DU GITE has a big chance if he is sharp on his reappearance. He closed out last season with back-to-back wins at Newbury and Aintree.
Making the move to the fences last season saw him really take a big step forward.
Gary Moore’s charge should have a big chance on Saturday.
FRERO BANBOU is another that warrants some respect. He is down 2lb from his last run, which was a fourth behind Editeur du Gite in the Red Rum at Aintree last season.
There was plenty to like about Frero Banbou in last season’s campaign and he could kick on for a top yard.
SULLY D’OC AA is another to keep an eye on. He was also in that Red Rum at Aintree in which he took runner up spot.
He easily stepped forward then to win a very strong 2m Punchestown handicap with the cheekpieces on for the first time. Sully D’oc AA opened last season’s campaign with a win here at Ascot and is a player.
Others to watch for this one are ONE FOR ROSIE who has a lot on his plate with the weights but was fantastic over the fences last season, and GREY DIAMOND who went well in the Red Rum and is from an in-form yard.

Here we go then, it is the return of CYRNAME who is the favourite by some distance to take the Charlie Hall on Saturday.
Cyrname opened last season by taking the Charlie Hall but then the season fell apart for him.
He never got going in either the King George or the Betfair Chase here at Ascot.
There has been a wind-op for Cyrname during his break and he has a fantastic record fresh.
Cyrname has something to prove but the former Grade 1 winner can’t be dismissed.
SHAN BLUE rose to the top last winter when he took the Kauto Star at Kempton in December. He was a three-time winner last campaign and has delivered a course and distance win.
On his latest effort, he was up in the Grade 1 Mildmay Novices’ Chase at Aintree and didn’t quite get it together there.
A change of tactics, being ridden aggressively didn’t pan out. Shan Blue’s not to be counted out.
CLONDAW CASTLE made great strides last season and has proven form at the 3m distance as he took the Close Brothers Handicap Chase and rattled the crossbar in the Betway Bowl at Aintree.
If there is more to come from him then Clondaw Castle can raise a serious challenge.

This is another of the top races of the day, the West Yorkshire Hurdle from Wetherby and there is a great lineup for it as well.
PAISLEY PARK is back in action for his reappearance run.
There was another good campaign for him last season, taking the Long Walk at Ascot and going close in the Stayers’ Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Paisley Park closed out last season with a misfire in the Grade 1 Ryanair Stayers Hurdle at Aintree, but the track clearly didn’t suit him there.
THOMAS DARBY was pushed to an extended 3m trip on his last run of the previous season and looked very good for it.
That was in hat Aintree Ryanair Stayers Hurdle and Thomas Darby took third there.
With a yard bang in form at the moment, this market hurdler has to get himself in the picture on the back of that Aintree effort.
INDEFATIGABLE is another interesting player for the shortlist in this great renewal. She was last seen a month ago on the level.
She won that effort so can bring some big match fitness to the table.
Last season ended with her taking a runner up spot in the Grade 2 Select Hurdle at Sandown and should clearly rate as a danger.
A couple of others to note are MASTER TOMMYTUCKER who won three times last season and returns to the hurdles and RUN FOR OSCAR who comes up in grade but with some cracking form behind him.
