The feature race for today’s horse racing tips is the Elite Hurdle from Wincanton which is part of a great day of racing.

We start today’s racing with that big one and there are further Grade and Listed fixtures to come across the day from Doncaster as well as Wincanton.

It’s six selections for Saturday’s UK horse racing tips that we have.

So here are the best of today’s horse racing tips for Saturday, 6th November 2021.

All times listed are GMT.

SCEAU ROYAL may be the star attraction of this big Grade 2 fixture at Wincanton Saturday. There was a successful reappearance from Sceau Royal last month.

That reappearance score was easily delivered at Kempton and that was a 2m Listed effort.

Given that Secau Royal won last year’s Elite Hurdle, then Alan King’s charge is expected to be right there.

GOSHEN could well be heavily involved in this one. His form dipped at the end of last season after picking up a course and distance win here in the Kingwell.

Struggles in the Champion Hurdle And then a Grade 1 Punchestown fixture saw Goshen go off the boil.

The break combined with a return to Wincanton could bring the best out of him.

There could be more to come from CHRISTOPHER WOOD in this top fixture.

He went off as the favourite in a 2m Sedgefield novice chase in May but could only manage third.

But there is potential there and Christopher Wood has had a wind operation since last being seen, plus his yard is in top shape at the moment.

Tip: SCEAU ROYAL 11/8

Ones to watch: Goshen 5/2, Christopher Wood 11/1

This is a big field and BASHRIKOVA who was successful once again last time out could feature very strongly.

It’s been three wins from three for her and the latest of those wins was a very good one.

On her handicap debut, Bashrikova struck at Newmarket, staying on well there and she rides a big danger coming up further on a trip now.

VIA SISTINA has won two of her four racetrack appearances. The first of those was in a novice at Goodwood before taking a score on her handicap debut at Newmarket a month ago.

Sandwiched in between those wins, Via Sistina was sent to a Group 2 in France where greenness got the better of her.

ZAWARA performed well in a Group 3 at Leopardstown on her penultimate run, taking a fourth place finish.

She couldn’t’ quite back that form up as didn’t get going at Naas three weeks ago. But she has been progressive this season and Zawara is no forlorn hope in this one.

Tip: BASHRIKOVA 10/3

Ones to watch: Via Sistina 3/1, Zawara 11/2

Distance: 6f

There are few with a chance in this one including DAKOTA GOLD who has taken back to back third-place finishes.

He’s looked in very good shape in defeat the last two times and can’t be counted out.

Dakota Gold won last year’s renewal of the Wentworth and could be right there as he looks to get off the mark this season.

KING’S LYNN was second in Ascot Group 3 on his latest run, which was just over a month ago. He should be heavily involved.

King’s Lynn hasn’t been out of the top two in three previous efforts at Doncaster, winning once.

King’s Lynn is giving weight to his rivals but rates as a danger.

Another to watch for horse racing betting for the shortlist is TARHIB.

She has won her last two and was in dominant mood in 6f taking a score at Yarmouth last month. That added to her score at Lingfield.

Tarhib looks like a very good one and connections are trusting her, as they have been shoving her up in class quickly.

Tip: TARHIB 15/2

Ones to watch: KING’S LYNN 3/1, Dakota Gold 7/1

This field has opened up with Bravemansgame and Favour being declared non-runners. It could leave MICK PASTOR with a big chance to post another win.

He has won all four runs this season and is thriving over the fences at the moment.

The latest of those wins for Mick Pastor was last month at Exeter.

GOA LIL is in great heart at the moment with a couple of wins in his last four.

While the successes in handicap hurdles and chases has been there, he is being thrown in at the deep end. It’ll be interesting to see how he handles this contest.

CAPTAIN TOM CAT opened the season with three straight wins, all over the fences.

But since being moved up to a stronger company, he has been found wanting a little bit.

But Captain Tom Cat and the remaining runners have been given an easier run because of the big two have pulled out.

Tip: CAPTAIN TOM CAT 9/4

Ones to watch: Mick Pastor 5/6, Goa Lil 9/1

This is a very wide-open affair to look through for horse racing betting on Saturday. While he hasn’t hit the heights of last season yet, CAP DU NORD could feature.

There have been excuses for him in his last couple of runs, even though part of it has been down to him not being at his belt.

Back in April Cup Du Nord was fighting in Bet365 Gold Cup and that’s the kind of form that should put him in this if he is on his game.

EL PRESENTE took a tumble on his last effort, which was at Perth on a 3m chase in June.

But he commands a lot of respect looking at his form from last year.

El Presente took this race last year and was super competitive in that Bet365 Chase in the spring. There has been a wind-op for him during his break.

The consistent POTTERMAN brings some each-way claims to the table and he went close in this one last year.

He was the winner of the Bet365 Chase at Sandown after the stewards handed it to him.

He looks set for a good season and can hold his own in this field.

Tip: EL PRESENTE 10/1

Ones to watch: Potterman 17/2, Cup Du Nord 9/2

This is a good open contest and FLYIN’ SOLO is the first horse racing betting shortlist contender for the action.

He secured back to back wins in May. The latter of those was an eye-catching one at York on his only previous effort on soft going.

Flyin’ Solo was impressive in that one, so he should be in this.

He finished last season with a third at Newbury and returns after being gelded.

SAM COOKE looks to be in a competitive mood at the moment. He won on his penultimate with a score at York.

The follow up from Sam Cooke was good as well as he claimed second place at Newbury.

He moves up in trip and is a contender.

FIRST LIGHT has won two of his last four and given that the conditions are likely to be in his favour, he can make his presence felt.

He was last seen at Ascot 35 days ago taking a fifth-place finish after a break of three months in a Listed fixture.

First Light is up 4lb from his last handicap effort and should threaten.

Tip: FLYIN’ SOLO 8/1

Ones to watch: First Light 7/1, Sam Cooke 9/1
