Race Preview

The consistent IRIS DANCER looks as if she has enough to put another bold run together. It has been three runner-up finishes in a row from her.

Course form is there as she has finished second four times before here at Hamilton. She should be in the frame.

PATSY FAGAN was poor on a hattrick last time out at Doncaster. But that effort came after a long break, so it can be excused.

She was looking red hot right before that and she should be fitter for having had that run under her belt.

BASHARAT comes back into handicapping after getting off the mark in a Catterick novice a couple of weeks ago.

A change of tactics suited him took, getting to the front and dominating. A repeat kind of effort should see him feature.

Race Preview

THE GLOAMING had a great race under her belt last time out. She was involved in a strong contest at Musselburgh, finding only one too good on the day.

That was her top effort of the campaign and with that sharp form, has a big chance coming back at the same distance.

ALBEGONE looks to be a big player in this contest and he enters things commanding respect under a 6lb penalty. That was after a score of 7 days at Musselburgh over a 5f trip.

It was a strong success, winning by 4 lengths and the time was good as well. That was a big return to form out of nowhere and it’ll be interesting to see if he can push on.

MEWS HOUSE didn’t have a great day at the offer on Thursday when he struggled to get into things at Ayr.

But he’s a likeable sort who could easily bounce back if this isn’t too soon. He has top jockey Oisin Murphy booked.

LIBERATED LAD defied some big odds to pick up a win at Windsor on his latest. That was totally out of the blue 12 days ago.

He has been handed a big chunk of an extra 5lb to deal with because of that. But if he can find a repeat of that effort, Liberated Lad isn’t without a chance.

HAVEYOUMISSEDME has been in good form both on the turf and on the all-weather so is a good versatile one. There was a victory at Newcastle for him two weeks ago.

He was scheduled to have a run on Friday, but he passed up on that, so Haveyoumissedme is potentially targeting this so it is taken seriously.

HELLENISTA won at Ripon a month ago. She doesn’t look like she is done improving yet and comes up 4lb.

That victory happened in just her second go in handicapping and could be a big player on Sunday.

Race Preview

This is a very competitive handicap hurdle at Plumpton on Sunday. MANOR PARK has been thriving this season with three wins in four.

He was last seen a month ago on the flat, taking a win so remains in sharp form. There is a 10lb rise on a return to the hurdles, but there is no way that he can be dismissed.

The hurdles form of Manor Park is superb under this same rider. CONSTANCIO looked to have rediscovered some form last time out with a solid fourth place finish at Sedgefield.

Constancio is a former course and distance winner and if he can cut out the mistakes that just tripped him up at Sedgefield, he could feature. Especially being down 4lb.

ZUBO got off the market in a course and distance maiden in May which is an interesting piece of form.

He’s been switched up between flat and jumps action recently and still looks to be in good heart. The handicapper has given him a chance.

Race Preview

This is a small field and ROMANOR has some big claims in this one. He was a runner up at Stratford two weeks ago, continuing in good form.

That just saw him miss out on a hat-trick of chances, so he’s well worth a look given his current positive form. It’s been one credible effort after another.

DOGON had a couple of efforts at Newton Abbot last month and connections will have been a little concerned about his lack of fight.

He struggled to put finishes together in both efforts, settling for third. He did get close to a score in a good run at the venue back in July. Dogon needs to bounce back.

The other to watch is AWAY FOR SLATES who scored a couple of times at Fontwell earlier this year. He hasn’t reproduced that March form but this may be well within his scope.

Race Preview

BAGAN may well feature strongly in this one after a comfortable score at Stratford on his latest run.

He’s been dealt an extra 5lb to work with for that win, but he still looks to be on a fair mark.

Bagan will have his first run for a new yard on Sunday as well and given that the recent Stratford success came by 8 lengths, suggests that he can be back in the thick of things.

IMPHAL is likely to be a big player in the field. He has been kept sharp with a recent run on the flat three weeks ago.

That was after a 5-month break, so it was a good move ahead of this. Imphal is on a good mark as he looks for his first win over the hurdles.

ANDAPA has been in great form recently and completed a double in July with back to back scores at Uttoxeter.

He was then pushed up 11lb higher for a Stratford handicap and he hit the line hard to take a second-place finish there a month ago. Andapa brings big claims.
