Today’s Horse Racing Tips & Odds – Sunday, 24th October 2021

Today’s horse racing tips for Sunday are from Aintree and Wincanton and they are the only two UK tracks with fixtures.

There is a big highlight to come through with the running of the Old Roan from Aintree at 3.00 pm (Grade 2).

We look at five other horse racing tips for the day beyond that one.

Race Preview

This is the big race of the day and it is TAMAROC DU MATHAN who is heading up the horse racing betting alongside ALLMANKIND.

The latter really kicked on well in chasing last season, claiming a win in all but one of his attempts over the fences.

That included a Grade 1 score. He has had a warm up, taking third over the hurdles 15 days ago.

As for Tamaroc Du Mathan he makes his seasonal reappearance.

He was very good over the fences last season, taking the Grade 2 Pendil novices’ chase in February to land his second win in the sphere. He signed off last season below par, but could go well fresh.

The other shortlist selection is taking a chance on ITCHY FEET. He nailed a good place finish over course and distance at the end of the previous campaign.

He is a former Grade 1 novice winner and if he’s got his jumping improved, then Itchy Feet could feature.

Race Preview

POUNDING POET should feature strongly in this one as he comes up in grade. This looks like being a super competitive fixture.

There have been back to back wins a week apart at Southwell and Warwick for him.

There has been an 8lb rise handed to him, but if Pounding Poet stays in form, then he rates as a big danger regardless from an in-form yard.

MACKELDUFF could be worth considering as well as he steps into handicap for the first time.

He has shown a lot of promise. There was a victory for Mackelduff on his last which was at Southwell in May. That was a comfortable score.

The other that could have a big say is RIGGS who had a good previous campaign. He was nice and consistent and was running well in defeat after getting off the mark at Uttoxeter.

RAILWAY MUICE could be the way to go in this handicap chase. He is currently seeking a five-timer so he brings hot form as he comes up in grade.

It has been three wins from three for his new yard and Railway Muice is just thriving right now. The most recent success was 12 days at Huntingdon. He’s a threat in this sphere.

VISION DES FLOS warrants consideration as he comes up on the trip. He was last seen winning at Warwick, adding to a success at Uttoxeter. He has put the pieces together recently to warrant respect.

RHYTHM IS A DANCE would be the other selection for the shortlist in this one. He is a good consistent one and has been in the top two in four of his five runs this season.

There were three wins in that one and was still in form taking a runner up 17 days ago at Exeter.

TRANSLINK has been improving over the hurdles and he is sitting on a hattrick chance for Sunday. It was back to back 20f wins at Worcester from him.

There has been an extra 4lb handed to him, but his yard is in form right now, so Translink should have a decent shot in this.

MONTYS MEDO can’t be written off as he is running well. There Was a score for him at Newton Abbott a month ago. He gets an extra 5lb for that but he has won before here at Wincanton so should go well.

The final selection for the shortlists is SEABOROUGH who has been running well in defeat recently.

He has been knocking on the door and the way that he has been weighted should give him a shot at snapping this losing streak.

The first shortlist selection is GELINO BELLO who showed well by landing a Plumpton bumper and then followed up with a good third at Newbury.

There could be more to come over the hurdles as Gelina Bello is from a top yard.

LAKOTA WARRIOR comes from last year’s winning yard in this fixture.

This is a reappearance run for him and wasn’t great on his last trip. But there has been a wind op and Lakota Warrior is probably worth chancing again.

DOCTOR KEN got off the mark at the third time of asking last season. That was in a bumper at Market Rasen. This will be his hurdles debut and looks to have a reasonable chance in this one.

CORACH RAMBLER looks like being a strong contender in horse racing betting for this one.

He was third on a reappearance last month on his chase debut. That was too short of a trip for him and this would pull more out of him.

MORNING SPIRIT was second on his reappearance in May. That was at Ffos Las and it was a reasonable effort at that and there could be more to come as well from him. Morning Spirit comes into chasing and rates a danger.

PREMIER D’TROICE was a good hurdler and on his first run for a new yard picked up a win at Newton Abbott in June. He was under a double plenary last time out at Stratford and could easily run himself into this.
