Today’s horse racing tips for Sunday, just come in from the two venues, which are Goodwood and Yarmouth.

There is more good action to come from the former and the top race of the day is a Group 3.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

Our horse racing tip for this big Group 3 on Sunday which is completely wide open.

We are going with a 3/1 shot RHOSCOLYN* (betting odds recorded 19:15 GMT on August 28th 2021 at William Hill).

He is still looking for his first win in Group company but isn’t likely to be far away. He has been a revelation for his new yard and recorded a hattrick earlier this season.

Rhoscolyn was last seen here at Goodwood, not getting a clear run in the Goodwood Mile, but still taking second place. There’s a slight drop in trips and rates a big threat.

TORO STRIKE should find this easier as well. He is a former course and distance winner, which happened on his reappearance this season.

He was here in the Lennox Stakes on his latest but found that way too hot for him. The ease in grade should help him.

The other to watch for is DOUBLE OR BUBBLE which arrives in great form.

She claimed success comfortably a couple of weeks later at Pontefract, her second in four runs this season.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

HIGHLAND ROCKER looks as if he could be a big player in this small field at 2/1* (betting odds recorded 19:15 GMT on August 28th 2021 at William Hill).

He is on the up and scored at Ripon in April in a novice event. He was last seen taking fourth place at Newmarket on his latest run 51 days ago.

The three who finished ahead of Highland Rocker in that one have all gone on to win since then.

JUST FINE is progressing well but there has been a big 8lb rise for him after a score at Sandown. But the form from that has been franked and he should pose a threat.

There was a second-place finish for SIR RUMI three weeks ago.

That was in a Newmarket handicap and considering he comes back at the same rating then he warrants respect.

This is an interesting race because none of the runners have much form to speak of. So by the same token, all rate a threat.

It is EPIC PASS that we are swinging towards at 6/4* (betting odds recorded 19:15 GMT on August 28th 2021 at William Hill).

He was disappointing at Lingfield on his latest run but may enjoy the move back to the turf in this one. Like the rest of these, he has something to prove.

AGGAGIO was over the hurdles six days ago at Stratford. He has been in reasonable enough form to see him get into the frame.

CAPLA KNIGHT was in action at Kempton just four days ago and there was a little bit of improvement in that one. This is a longer trip by some distance for him.

ARTHUR’S ANGEL is down at this level for the first time (Selling). There was a win at Lingfield for him in May, but the form has been pretty much downhill since then.

This is a competitive contest with most of the field seeking a return to some positive form.

MOTAGALLY piques interest at 7/2 as a horse racing tip* (betting odds recorded 19:15 GMT on August 28th 2021 at William Hill).

This is his favoured trip after a spirited attempt at 5f at Nottingham on his latest run, which was three weeks ago.

Motagally moves back to handicapping and looks to be on a pretty fair mark as well.

ATALANTA’S BOY thrives over course and distance, who scored here in April off 2lb lower.

There have been struggles since though with form, but there were excuses for him last time out here at Goodwood.

ABLE KANE is a good consistent sort and has been right in the frame in all but one of his last six runs.

So he should be right about there following a solid place finish at Newmarket last time out.

THE CITY’S PHANTOM could be well worth watching in the market at a current 6/1 quote in horse racing betting* (betting odds recorded 19:15 GMT on August 28th 2021 at William Hill).

He faded away on his challenge at Newmarket last time out, but he is a two-time course and distance winner. The most recent of those was delivered in April.

With the addition of Angus Villiers being booked as a 5lb claimer, then The City’s Phantom has a big chance.

FINEST SHAPE goes at this distance for just the second time. There was a third-place at Doncaster on his first attempt. He looks competitive.

PROTECTED GUEST has won this a couple of times. So he knows what this is all about.

The cheekpieces go on for the first time as connections look to sharpen him up after some recent struggles.

MOLLY SHAW did also collect a course and distance win on her last run. Like Heer’s Sadie, she has more to find. She had been promoted from second to get that C&D win.

MEDIA GUEST is an interesting one. On his debut, he ran well at course and distance but then hasn’t managed to back that up.

However, at Windsor on his last run (following a wind-op) he looked to be going back in the right direction to take a close fifth after hitting some traffic.
