There are some big claims here. UNDER CURFEW just takes preference for us as a horse racing tip at 2/1* (betting odds recorded 22:48 GMT on July 14th, 2021 at William Hill).

He completed a hat-trick for the season last time out. It was a career-best that he produced at Bath just two days ago.

He’ll be under a penalty for that score and as long as he handles this quick turnaround, this should be with the score of Under Curfew.

OOH IS IT certainly brings strong claims of his own. He is up 5lb for a recent win at Windsor 17 days ago. He showed good temperament to pick up that and is now sitting on a hat-trick chance.

JUST GLAMOROUS easily makes a fit for the shortlist in this handicap. Three weeks ago he improved to land a 9-runner handicap score at Salisbury.

He’s bumped up 6lb in the ratings and that means he will need to find further improvement still.

All three have some claims in this one. There has been rapid progress made by FIRST CONNECTION. He has gotten better with each race.

First Connection got off the mark at Bath 55 days ago and there should be further to come for him.

But we are just siding with BALEARIC at 9/4* (betting odds recorded 22:48 GMT on July 14th, 2021 at William Hill).

That offers a little more in horse racing betting and he comes up on trip which we think is key. He was running well in a third-place finish at Haydock a month ago.

He had met trouble in that race. Having won at Newcastle earlier this season, Balearic takes preference.

SILVESTRIS has been nice and consistent this season. He was fourth seven days ago at Carlisle in a handicap.

This looks like a very good competitive race. PURE BUBBLES does look a threat here after going at Newmarket in a stronger race last time out.

An easier assignment here could see him get right in the thick of things.

Also having a much easier assignment today is MISS MULLIGAN from 9/1* (betting odds recorded 22:48 GMT on July 14th, 2021 at William Hill).

She was last seen at Royal Ascot finishing in the middle of a pack of 18. The extra trip is likely to play to her favour as well.

If THORN can just find a tiny bit more then he has a big shout. He won at course and distance last time out, his second victory of the campaign.

He got the better of Leroy Leroy in the contest as well. Can he kick on?

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

PRINCE OF BEL LIR and OTAGO both have some strong claims. The former looks a good fit as he comes up on trips.

Otago delivered a recent course and distance win which puts him firmly on the shortlist as well. He comes up 5lb, however. So we can look past the claims of both.

FRED is our 9/2 racing tip* (betting odds recorded 22:48 GMT on July 14th, 2021 at William Hill). He took part in the Carlisle Bell last month and was sixth after a slow start.

The switch back to a left-handed track is sure to suit him better and he was travelling very well once he got himself going at Carlisle. If he gets to the front and dictates, Fred could be hard to stop.

There are also claims for PRINCESSE ANIMALE on her turf debut. There has been some nice form from her on the all-weather.

If she carries on in that fashion on the turf, then place claims are not unreasonable from her.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

We are happy to take a chance on 5/1 shot COUSIN OSCAR at Worcester on Thursday in racing betting* (betting odds recorded 22:48 GMT on July 14th, 2021 at William Hill).

He was third at Aintree on his latest run and is likely to push on from that one. It was a very good effort and it was his first run in seven months as well.

RONDE DE NUIT gets the cheekpieces on looks a big threat in this one. She was second in a handicap hurdle at Stratford a month ago. That was after breaking her maiden with a score at Taunton in April.

WADELL DUNDLAK is improving all the time and has only been handed 1lb extra for a third at course and distance a month ago.

He was close in that one and the race didn’t quite play out in his favour there. Wadell Dundalk is still a maiden but he doesn’t look too far away from getting off the mark.

We are going with the 11/4 favourite OSCAR ROSE for this handicap hurdle* (betting odds recorded 22:48 GMT on July 14th, 2021 at William Hill).

She collected a simple victory at Kempton on her latest effort and has been handed a hefty 7lb rise for that. But she still looks to be on the up.

That last win saw Oscar Rose complete a hattrick on similar trips to this. She returns after a break but she is reliable running fresh.

YOUR BAND was unravelled with a poor jump three from home last time out. He finished third at the course and distance.

But he has been in good form this season and there has been enough there to suggest that he gets close again.

THEBANNERKINGREBEL can’t be counted out of this either after. It’s been a strange season as he has lost a shoe on both runs. At Hexham last time out he was shaping extremely well before pulling up.
