Today’s horse racing tips are all about the national hunt action from up and down the country.

It’s a busy day for that with a lot of Pertemps action rolling in from Chepstow.

Along with looking at some horse racing tips from Chepstow, we are also looking at Huntingdon and Sedgefield.

He is looking to pick up a double after breezing his way to victory at Sandown a week ago. There’s no penalty inbound which is a huge boost to his chances.

Eamon An Cnoic is well in the weights for this latest handicap challenge which puts him at the front of the pack and he should be tough to beat.

GRUMPY CHARLY has won twice at course and distance, so he looks to be the main threat to the favourite.

So the hattrick seeking gelding is thriving at the moment after novice wins in the mud recently.

The move to a 2m trip should help CASWELL BAY in this fixture and he did score a win in the mud here at Chepstow a year ago.

There hasn’t been a great deal from him for this campaign, but this trip may have something to offer him.

The race favourite for this mares’ contest is NO NO JULIET at 2/1* (betting odds recorded 17:25 GMT on Wednesday, 24th February 2021 at Paddy Power).

She pulled up at Wetherby on her latest effort but was in form before that. She was actually travelling will on that run anyway.

No No Juliet can’t be discounted from this one though and probably won’t be too far away from a score.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

HILLS OF CONNEMARA scored at Newcastle on her penultimate start ahead of one that has since gone on to win.

So that’s worth noting and although she didn’t go well at Musselburgh on her follow up, and her jumping form needs a boost, she could feature.

We think Hills of Connemara is worth chancing at 15/2* (betting odds recorded 17:25 GMT on Wednesday, 24th February 2021 at Paddy Power).

THE TOOJUMPA is coming back up on a trip and we think that makes her competitive in this fixture. She has produced two runners-up finishes in her last four.

The Toojumpa was 8th at Warwick three weeks ago, but that race looked to come too soon for her.

UN PROPHETE is the 11/8 favourite for this run* (betting odds recorded 17:25 GMT on Wednesday, 24th February 2021 at Paddy Power).

He was a faller on his latest trip when he was two from home at Fontwell. That was last week when he was 12 lengths clear, but he is good enough to bounce back.

Un Prophete is coming down on a trip and he stays at the same mark and he is the one to beat as he looks for a bit of redemption.

ROB THE GETAWAY was at course and distance last time out and he took a runner up finish on that trip.

So he has a chance of entering calculations again. There’s plenty of promise from the Aintree bumper winner who has been in good shape this season.

The other selection for the shortlist is NATIVE ROBIN. He scored a win at Wincanton in November and went close on his follow up at the same venue as well.

Native Robin found only a progressive one too good on the day as he looked for a double. He has a bold run in him.

POKER PLAY heads up the market currently at 7/4* (betting odds recorded 17:25 GMT on Wednesday, 24th February 2021 at Paddy Power).

There was a good second-place finish for Poker Play at Plumpton on his latest run. That was easily the best run of the season so it is coming good at the moment.

That was a hurdle effort at Plumpton on a slightly longer trip than this one. He goes on the shortlist with some interest.

Making the move back to the timbers is BLACKJACK KENTUCKY who may well be a lot happier back in this sphere.

He hasn’t had a great time on the switch to fences, so that’s abandoned for now. The cheekpieces go on and he scored a novice chase here in October.

There has been moments of real promise from him this season, winning two of four runs. The first was a chase at Westbury and then at Newbury.

Funambule Sivola was back at Newbury on his latest run when he took a very good second-place finish, again showing good form.

The move to the fences really looks to be pulling the best out of him.

VIENNA COURT certainly has a shot at the places in this contest. She was third at Bangor in November in what was her chase debut.

She was sent out in a bumper on her latest run in which she finished fifth. She does need to find more in this sphere, but there is potential there.

ARIAN will be looking for a bounce back after a fall at Cheltenham in December. That was a heavy tumble as well and it ruined hiershot at a hattrick.

But it’s been a good break since then so she has had plenty of time to receive.

He will be looking to build on an excellent runner up finish at Doncaster on his latest run. That was in a field of 18 as well.

So Calarules certainly comes onto the shortlist with a lot of interest. After missing the entirety of the previous campaign, he has come back very well.

Another of the main players here should be AVITHOS. He is coming up on a trip now after a successful effort at Fakenham a month ago.

That was the best effort of the season from her and she makes a move up 6lb in the ratings. The veteran through may have to find something extra to back that up.

MAMOO may have something to bring to the table although like most in the field he has something to prove.

He was well down the field last time out at Doncaster and hasn’t really hit form this term yet.

But the blinkers are on. He is now 6lb lighter than when he scored at Catterick a year ago.

It has been very solid form from Oscar’s Leader this season who has been in the frame in all three efforts.

He was a touch off form on his latest run at Market Rasen but gets the blinkers on for the first time in this one.

Oscars Leader is a former course and distance winner having won this last season. He’s now 9lb higher than that score.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

LASKADINE can’t be discounted either after a really keen victory at Newcastle in December.

That was progress after a runner up place at Hexham.

So he’s heading in the right direction but the handicap has been fiercely all over him with a 10lb rise.

DIODORUS picked up a win at Wetherby on a 2m trip on just his second hurdles effort last season.

He has been steady this season but needs to find a little bit of improvement following a below-par effort at Catterick last week. It’s something to build on.
