Today’s horse racing tips come from Ayr, Fakenham and Lingfield and there’s all a nice balance with two picks from each venue.

It’s national hunt action all the way for Tuesday’s UK Racing tips, with the top level of action being some class 3 runs from all three venues.

So here are the best of today’s horse racing tips for Tuesday, 16th November 2021.

All times listed are GMT.

CRIXUS’S ESCAPE makes his seasonal reappearance on Tuesday and could deliver a positive effort on his return.

He won last year’s renewal of this fixture so that immediately piques interest.

He didn’t continue on in the same fashion last season after winning, but Crixus’s Escape goes at the same mark from which he scored this from twelve months ago.

FINAWN BAWN hasn’t been seen for a couple of years. That last run was a third-place finish in a Chepstow 3m effort back in November 2019.

A huge plus for Finawn Bawn is that he comes from a yard that is in superb form at the moment. Can he have a say on the switch to handicapping?

Bringing match fitness at the table is DRAGONFRUIT who won at Bangor three weeks ago.

With that successful appearance in the bag, the low mileage contender is entitled to bring more, even though he comes up 6lb.

The other that could be worth watching for the shortlist is DUC DE GRISSAY who is out for his reappearance following wind surgery. Will that be enough to see him get things back together?

Tip: DRAGONFRUIT 17/2

Ones to watch: Finawn Bawn 9/4, Crixus’s Escape 12/1

ZHIGULI picked up another win when he showed up for his reappearance two weeks ago, which was at course and distance.

That form naturally puts him in the thick of this one. Zhiguli really started to deliver on some promise over the hurdles last winter and now with a chase score under his belt, it just hints that there could be even more to come from him.

AHEAD OF THE FIELD claimed a good score at the second time of asking over the hurdles.

That was on his final run of the previous campaign and returns after a break since getting that in March.

There likely is more to come as Ahead Of The Field takes on a run for a new yard.

FANTASTIKAS proved to be a super reliable sort last season and did win at Fontwell in February.

His follow up was good with a place finish at Market Rasen. That was the handicap debut for Fantastikas so could have more to offer.

Fantastikas look well built for chasing and are very interesting.

SOYOUTHINKAGAIN has been hit with a rise of 7lb after success at Wetherby a couple of weeks ago. He just pulled clear and was untouchable in that fixture.

The nice thing about that was Soyouthinkagain clearly took a step forward from a very promising chase debut. More is in the tank very likely.

Tip: ZHIGULI 11/4

Ones to watch: Soyouthinksoagain 4/1, Ahead Of The FIeld 7/1

This is a nice competitive field and the first selection for the shortlist is going to be SARVI who is a course winner.

Back in July she claimed a win at Perth and has stayed in form since.

Sarvi was runner up at Musselburgh a couple of weeks ago on her latest. The trip suits her fine and she will likely bring her usual consistency to the table.

PAMMI rates as a threat as she comes down 1lb in the rating.

There have been three wins recorded by Pammi this season and looked to be in good shape in defeat on her latest as well.

That was a fourth-place finish in a Kelso handicap hurdle 10 days ago.

JESSSIEMAC couldn’t compete on her chasing debut three weeks ago at Kelso.

But the switch back to the hurdles, where she has been successful before, means that she should have a chance.

Jessiemac won the 2019 renewal of this race and she is back to hurdling on a reduced mark as well, raising her threat.

JOIE DE VIVRE warrants consideration for horse racing betting as well, as she is a course winner.

Her latest win came in October at Sedgefield and put in a decent effort at Carlisle a month ago on a follow-up. Joie De Vivre can make her presence felt.

Tip: PAMMI 11/2

Ones to watch: Jessiemac 10/1, Joie De Vivre 5/1

Most of the runners in this one have claims, but the biggest ones come from MEGAN who takes a drop of 1lb.

She was a faller on her reappearance at Chepstow, despite travelling well for the contest.

She was back on song at Ascot a couple of weeks ago taking a fourth-place finish at this distance.

Given that Megan is coming down a fair chunk in grade here, she has to rate as a big danger and could take some beating.

SORBET has claimed a couple of 2m victories this year, looking really on top of her game in the Spring. Her current form remains good.

Sorbet landed a place finish in a Ludlow handicap hurdle 26 days ago and is likely to make her presence felt on Tuesday.

The other to consider would be TALKING ABOUT YOU who completed a hattrick last winter.

She makes her seasonal reappearance since making her handicap debut at Cheltenham back in April. She’s down 3lb and no forlorn hope.

Tip: MEGAN 11/10

Ones to watch: Sorbet 7/2, Talking About You 11/2

SABBATHICAL made a pleasing return to action nine days ago when he took a runner spot at Ffos Las.

That was in a handicap chase and was well clear of anyone behind him in the field. Sabbathical is back in business after a short turnaround at the same mark.

He clearly rates as a danger in this field and with a drop in grade, he has to be close to landing the second chase win of her career.

SOME DANCE KID could get himself in the picture. A wind op may help him out in terms of sticking in there at the end.

It’s not been a bad season for him so far and was last seen three months ago taking a fourth-place finish in a Bangor handicap chase.

Another that could have a big say on the day is LITTLE LIGHT. He is worth revisiting after a decent enough effort in a handicap chase at Bangor three weeks ago.

That built on a promising reappearance in which she was third after a break of six months.

Tip: SABBATHICAL 6/4

Ones to watch: The Some Dance Kid 9/4, Little Light 9/2

This is a quality field and one of the first names to land on the shortlist is SMURPHY ENKI, who has been tried at Grade 1 before.

That was in the Tolworth where things didn’t come together for him on his penultimate effort. But that run was sandwiched between two novice hurdle wins.

Smurphy Enki has been handed a lot by the assessor for his handicap debut on Tuesday.

But he’s unexposed and probably worth considering given that connections clearly thought highly of him last season.

KISSESFORKATIE probably should have claimed at least a couple more wins last season.

Things didn’t quite work out for her in terms of luck and circumstance.

This is her reappearance after a break of 12 months, in which she was going well at Wincanton only to have her winning chances ruined by being badly hampered.

Kissesforkatie is high quality and has to be in the frame.

SHELDON piques some interstate as well in this one on his reappearance. There was a good hurdle win for him in January at Fakenham.

He followed that up very well to take runner up spot at Exeter under a penalty. A couple of credible handicaps came after that and after a break, Sheldon could pose a threat back up in the trip.

MR JACK is also likely to be a big player after a good reappearance two weeks ago.

Earlier this year he won four of five runs and was just thriving. His Plumpton reappearance will have served to sharpen him up and the prolific Mr Jack has to be of interest.

Tip: MR JACK 5/1

Ones to watch: Kissesforkatie 4/1, Sheldon 9/2
