Today’s Horse Racing Tips & Odds – Tuesday, 17th November 2020

Today’s horse racing tips will feature six races from the day’s cards from up and down the country.

We are going to be dialling in on some horse racing action from Fakenham, Newcastle and Southwell for our racing tips.

The meeting from Lingfield has been abandoned for Tuesday.

So here is the best of today’s horse racing tips for Tuesday, 17th November 2020.

Race Favourite

We have a good resting Chase to kick things off with on Tuesday.

GLENO is the current favourite at 11/10* (betting odds taken from Coral at 22:12 GMT on Monday 16th November 2020).

That is after a good reappearance run when he claimed a win over the fences at Lingfield.

That was the first run since wind surgery as well. So that really took him on from last season when he was developing well over the hurdles.

Trainer Gary Moore will be happy where GLENO is at, although the runner has to overcome a 6lb rise in the ratings. But he should be there or thereabouts in this field.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

RUMBLE B looks to be the biggest threat to the favourite in this contestst.

He was up against Gleno at Lingfield recently and finished in third place before him in third place.

But there is a difference this time that Rumble B has a 3lb advantage. Will that see him turn the tables after that promising chase debut?

The final one that looks to have some potential in this sphere is FINALSHOT.

He put in a chase debit at Wincanton back in October and put in a solid run there to claim third place.

Finalshot is a decent hurdler and there looks to be more to come from him in chasing. Claims are there.

Race Favourite

Heading up the market for this one is LEXI THE ONE at 11/8* (betting odds taken from Coral at 22:12 GMT on Monday 16th November 2020).

She picked up a win on her last run, getting a career-best effort at course and distance 8 days ago.

That was her first go on the Fibresand as well and looked comfortable on it. She is now under a 6lb penalty because of that success.

But she still looks as if she is going to be the one to beat. It will be interesting to see how she handles the extra now going head to head with Cesifire.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

CESIFIRE also won at course and distance on her last trip. That was eight days ago (a division of the same handicap that Lexi The One scored in).

That was an excellent run from Cesifire in that one, dominating the field.

There is a 6lb rise for the filly as well, but she was going very strongly at the finish.

Those two look so strong that we don’t see anyone else in this field breaking them both to get a score.

The best option for place claims in racing betting that we see is LE REVEUR. He comes into action for his firbesand debut.

He has won a couple of times this season and claimed a second place on his last run a month ago at Windsor.

Race Favourite

GETARIVER is the current 5/2 favourite for this mares’ handicap at Fakenham on Tuesday* (betting odds taken from Coral at 22:12 GMT on Monday 16th November 2020).

This actually looks like a very good contest. This will be the third run of the season for David Skelton’s mare.

She didn’t really get going on her chase debut, which was her reappearance run this season.

But Getariver then stepped it up when she switched back to hurdles at Stratford for her last effort.

So that’s the sphere where she looks best suited at the moment and therefore the multi bumper winner has leading claims here.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

4 year old FANTASTIC MRS FOX is well worth a look here. She was last seen up at Grade 2 company when taking on the opposite sex.

Fantastic Mrs Fox was not disgraced there either in taking a fourth place finish. She looks to have a good turn of pace about her.

She did pretty well last season in this sphere, bagging a couple of wins.

We think there is enough there from 7/2 to support* (betting odds taken from Coral at 22:12 GMT on Monday 16th November 2020).

NORDICAN BLEUE finished the last campaign in top shape, scoring in two of her final three races.

It has been two wins from six previous efforts over the hurdles from her.

Nordican Bleue comes into handicapping for the first time here and needs to be respected. She looks like a top performer but will have to defy a 14-month break.

Race Favourite

The 13/8 market leader is MUILEAN NA MADOG* (betting odds taken from Coral at 22:12 GMT on Monday 16th November 2020).

He recently had a return after 20 months away from action. It wasn’t a bad effort either.

It was a third place finish that Muilean Na Madog took at Lingfield in that one in a 2 1/2m trip. That was the first run since wind surgery as well.

It certainly hinted that he could have more to come as he looks to break a lengthy maiden under rules.

He was tiring a bit at the end of that Lingfield trip, which wasn’t too surprising.

It means that the drop in trip will pull him into contention on his second run for Dan Skelton.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

This one though is going to eb all about GLIMPSE OF GOLD for us at 7/2* (betting odds taken from Coral at 22:12 GMT on Monday 16th November 2020).

He has produced some fantastic form this season and arrives looking for a double.

It has been two wins in five runs this season and he has come on well over the hurdles. Last month he got a score in a handicap here at Fakenham.

The switch back to chasing is very interesting now for him and Glimpse Of Gold sits on a very good mark.

The other for the shortlist in this contest is WISECRACKER who had a first run following wind surgery a couple of weeks ago.

That was a 2m effort at Hereford and he collected a second-place finish in it as well.

He has been in the frame several times this season now and with the cheek pieces back on, looks as if he can get close.

EAGLE’S FOOT is a narrow 9/4 favourite for this contest* (betting odds taken from Coral at 22:12 GMT on Monday 16th November 2020).

He delivered a win over course and distance just over a month ago. So there are obvious claims from that.

He had blinkers and a tongue strap for the first time in that race and it brought an improvement.

There is a 6lb rise in the ratings for him. He handled the further trip as well that he faced in that one, excellently.

We expect even more improvement.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

WEMYSS POINT from 8/1 just makes for a fascinating player in this one as well.

He is coming down in grade after scoring a second place finish over course and distance last week.

So there are big place claims coming in from him we feel. Dropping 2lb in the ratings as well is going to help his cause in this one.

The other big player is MONJENI who is coming down in grade as well.

It was a third place finish to Ocean Wind at Newmarket that has been the highlight of his season really since winning at Lingfield in February.

He was at the back of the pack at Kempton on his last run, in a race that didn’t suit. He is a player.

We round off with this sprint on the Tapeta at Newcastle on Tuesday.

BURROWS SEESIDE is the current market leader at 11/8* (betting odds taken from Coral at 22:12 GMT on Monday 16th November 2020).

He will be looking to earn himself a hattrick as he steps back into action in this one. He gets a 5lb rise in the ratings after a win here at Gosforth Park three weeks ago.

Burrows Seeside is still lightly race and the 3 year old looks pretty sharp right now. It’s hard to ignore the form that he arrives in.

DEOLALI has won a couple of course and distance efforts recently. So that naturally means that he is going to be a threat, or at least he should be.

It’s a total of three course and distance wins that Deolali has taken in his career. The most recent of those was 11 days and he was keeping on well.

We would expect CHLOELLIE to be on the radar again. She has a 5lb claimer and put in a very credible second place at Kempton a month ago on her last trip.

Chloellie was staying well there and we expect her to raise another notable effort. There are place claims.
