RED HAPPY enters the picture on Tuesday in a winning mood having collected a victory in France last month.

His current form is hot, winning twice across the Channel in the last month. He’s plenty experienced over the fences.

Red Happy makes his British debut on Tuesday and brings some obvious form to the table on his first run for David Pipe.

AHEAD OF THE FIELD would like to live up to his name on Tuesday at Leicester. He too brings winning form to proceedings.

Ahead Of The Field took a score at Southwell a couple of weeks ago, building on his reappearance run. There should be more to come.

SOMEKINDOFSTAR is another that could shine in this one. He scored here at Leicester back in mark, doubling his tally in this sphere.

There was a second-place finish for Some Kind Of Star on his latest, a superb effort at Fontwell on a slightly longer trip.

The visor goes on for the first time.

KILBROOK is one final one to look at for the shortlist in this contest.

He won over the fences in October on his latest. This is a much bigger challenge than what he faced in a weak field there.

Kilbrook comes up 4lb and looks to have something about him.

Tip: SOMEKINDOFSTAR 13/2

Ones to watch: Ahead Of The Field 4/1, Red Happy 7/2

LEBOWSKI could be the one to beat in this contest as he goes in search of a hattrick.

It has been nothing but positives from him this season, taking comfortable 2m wins at Ffos Las and Ayr recently.

Those were novice hurdles successes for Lebowski.

Further potential should be unlocked now that he goes handicapping.

MCGOWAN’S PASS is an interesting one lining up in this field. He has shown form before on 2m trips, most of that happening at Ayr.

He returned from a seven-month break last month with a reasonable effort at Haydock, but he never threatened in it.

That’s because Mcgowan’s Pass looked like he needed that run. Place claims are there.

JANTE LAW is another interesting one line up in this small field. He is also seeking a hat-trick.

In March he got off the mark in this sphere and doubled his tally back at the same venue six weeks later.

This is the handicap debut for Jante Law, who does need to defy a long absence, but nonetheless piques interest.

Tip: LEBOWSKI 6/4

Ones to watch: Jane Law 4/1, Mcgowan’s Pass 6/1

REPRESENTING BOB is likely to be a big player in this contest if he carries on in the same heart as he has been in recently.

He opened the season with back to back wins, scoring at Bangor in October from a 9lb lower mark than this.

Representing Bob was last seen at Chepstow in a handicap in which he took a solid runner up place.

He is moved back up in distance for Tuesday’s run which is only likely to make him a bigger threat to the rest of the field in this sphere.

SCOTTISH ACCENT is another that is expected to be heavily involved in things on Tuesday.

He was second at Newcastle in a good effort ten days ago.

That is similar to what he produced to win for the first time over the hurdles in February at Carlisle.

Scottish Accent sits on a threatening mark in this one and should pose a big threat in the contest.

NO CRUISE YET is one to consider for the shortlist as well. He won at Sedgefield 25 days ago and took a 6lb rise because of that.

On his penultimate run, No Cruise Yet should have taken a win, but fell a couple from hope after getting himself into a very good spot.

Tip: NO CRUISE YET 5/1

Ones to watch: Representing Bob 3/1, Scottish Accent 10/3

FINDTHETIME took a win at Sedgefield last month, which was another good point of progress in his career.

He looks pretty smart with more to come from him as well. He comes up on a trip for his handicap debut on Tuesday and rates as a danger.

KENSINGTON ART is another that comes up on trips and looks like he could make a nuisance of himself in this field.

He took a 2m handicap hurdle win at Kempton on his penultimate run.

Last month Kensington Art took a competitive second place at Newcastle and is likely to go well again.

BUCKO’S BOY is no forlorn hope for this contest, but needs a little bit of a revival. He looks to be on a fair mark.

He wasn’t great in taking a third-place finish at Uttoxeter last time out, but the previous form reads better and place claims could be there for Bucko’s Boy.

HUNTING PERCIVAL also piques some interest for the shortlist because he is usually on point coming in fresh.

His last run was in August, which was a fairly disappointing effort at Market Rasen.

He did get a score over the hurdles in the summer, and he’s not to be counted out.

Tip: FIND THE TIME 5/2

Ones to watch: Bucko’s Boy 8/1, Kensington Art 11/2

LOCAL BAY gets on the shortlist for this one as he is a previous course and distance winner. He’s not the only one in the field.

This is a competitive line-up, but Local Bay is far better than his third at Wolverhampton a couple of weeks ago.

A return to Newcastle makes him a threat.

BROCTUNE RED is a five-time course and distance winner. So there are obvious claims there because of that.

The latest of his Newcastle wins happened here in November.

He was third at this venue 17 days ago, going well on the Tapeta once again. Broctune Red should be involved.

PLASTIC PADDY is another with successful C&D history. He has struggled the last two times since winning here in October.

But he gets a good claimer on his back for Tuesday and the return to the Tapeta could get him back on track.

TEFNUT is the final shortlisted one for this contest.

He put in a very good shift to claim a runner spot at Newcastle last month. He was finishing strongly in that one and he is no forlorn hope.

Tip: BROCTUNE RED 5/2

Ones to watch: Plastic Paddy 13/2, Local Bay 5/2

Declared Runners: 5
Distance: 1m

PEINTRE D’ETOILES has vastly more experience than the rest of the runners in this novice stakes.

She should have a big chance of getting off the mark here.

The filly didn’t have the greatest of runs at Wolverhampton two weeks ago but stuck in there battling. This is an easier task for her.

WHITE WILLOW looks to be the biggest threat in this field. She was third in a course and distance minor event two weeks ago.

That was her debut run, so there were positives to take from that. She could be better for that as she looked pretty game.

DUBAI LADY makes her debut on Tuesday. She cost a fair chunk of change and the breeding suggests that this is within her scope.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see her get involved.

Tip: WHITE WILLOW 9/4

Ones to watch: Dubai Lady 6/4, Peintre D’étoiles 6/4
