Today’s Horse Racing Tip

This is a good test for these milers. It’s a wide-open looking contest as well with plenty of claims around.

CHICHESTER just gets the nod from us at 9/2* (betting odds recorded 23:25 GMT on June 28th, 2021 at Bet365).

With the cheekpieces on for the first time, he picked up a win in the Carlisle Bell on his latest effort and is entitled to come on further for that.

There is a 5lb penalty for Chichester but that looks to be workable in this field. There has been nice consistency from him and there’s no reason why he can’t deliver again.

JUMP THE GUN is not to be discounted from this one as he picked up a superb course and distance success just two weeks ago. This is a stronger fixture ahead of him up in grade.

HORTZADAR is another that could have a strong say, putting in some decent handicap efforts in defeat.

Things didn’t click in the Royal Hunt Cup last time out, but a stronger showing here is not without prospects.

EURO IMPLOSION is bang in form at the moment having picked up back to back wins. One of those was here in Hamilton three weeks ago.

This is a stronger contest than that was, but there is still plenty of handicapping scope on his side, so he could show well again.

MUKHAYYAM is another that enters on the back of a win. He picked up a score at Ripon two week ago, digging deep to get the win. But this is a much tougher task for him.

We can’t get past the 9/4 favourite ANNANDALE for this one* (betting odds recorded 23:25 GMT on June 28th, 2021 at Bet365).

He has won three of seven runs and even on an imperfect run, picked up a good third place at Musselburgh three weeks ago.

CALL ME GINGER is worth a look in this one after a good course and distance effort last time out.

He needs to be respected on the back of that second-place finish. He is looking to snap a long run without a win

But he was running on very well in that C&D effort three weeks ago and likely to be heavily involved in this one.

Given that we don’t think that COTTAM LANE is quite there with his form at the moment, we can oppose him.

He has potential but hasn’t tapped into the kind of efforts that saw him go well as a juvenile.

LADY CELIA has a very solid track record, of having nailed a place finish in all five previous attempts at Hamilton. So she has to go on to the shortlist.

It is a much bigger field that we have to look over for the next horse racing tip today.

OUR MAN IN HAVANA is our 6/1 selection for this contest* (betting odds recorded 23:25 GMT on June 28th, 2021 at Bet365).

Last week here was here at Chepstow picking up a victory on a minimum-distance sprint effort.

There has been a 5lb penalty awarded for that, but he looks as if he could defy that on the move up to the 6f trip.

That is back to back strong efforts now from, so while he is back thriving he is worth backing to push his current form further.

DIAMOND COTTAGE needs to be kept inside for the shortlist here. That is because he ran a brilliant race over course and distance 8 days ago. He stays at the same mark so has a big shout.

The final selection would be ROSE ALL DAY who makes a return to handicapping on a decent mark.

This looks like a good move for her and is likely to show stronger than she did in a minor event at Bath a couple of weeks ago.

This is a great-looking contest. We are going to take a chance of TEQANY at 13/2 for our horse racing tip* (betting odds recorded 23:25 GMT on June 28th, 2021 at Bet365).

He has yet to get off the mark on the flat but is a high-class hurdler who still looks as if he can deliver on the level.

On his first effort on the flat since 2018 Teqany was second at Kempton a month ago. So we think that he can get back in the frame

DIDTHEYLEAVUEOUTTO is a big threat in the field as he looks to collect a double. His score happened at Nottingham and gets a 4lb bump up in the ratings on the back of that.

We also see decent place claims coming in from both TIGERTEN and ZILLION. The former has been moving along in some very nice form and will have the benefit of Oisin Murphy taking charge.

The move back to a longer trip looks as if it will suit Tigerten to a tee.

He is coming up on a trip on a very good opening mark as he moves into handicapping. He looks destined for much bigger things.

Earlier this year he was going very well in novice all-weather contests and looks to be stacked with the kind of potential to see him score in this one.

This is not a particularly deep field. The biggest threats are BEAT THE STORM who was disqualified after crossing the line first in his latest effort at Yarmouth, and GEROGE BANCROFT who looks for some improvement on his second run of the year.
