ZESTFUL HOPE got off the mark over the hurdles at Hereford a couple of months ago.
It’s hard to take a lot of form from what was a weak field.
But he travelled well enough and showed a good attitude to get his head down. The move to handicapping promises more.
WHATSUPWITHYOU is no forlorn hope at all in this one as she is now down 4lb from a fourth-place finish at Ludlow a month ago.
He had got into a good position in that one and wasn’t disgraced in the field of 11.
It’s been twelve runs since Whatsupwithyou last one, but he looks like a threat.
GROOVEUR has been on the up this season and claimed his first win over the hurdles last spring at Ludlow.
He hasn’t followed up yet this season, treading water a bit in handicaps.
But he is now down on the trip from a third at Hereford on his latest run so could have a chance.

WAVECREST is unexposed but could have a decent chance of making an impact at Fontwell on Tuesday.
He got off the mark over the fences on his latest run, claiming a score at Hereford back in November.
Wavecrest is up 9lb from that effort but not to be counted out.
AERONISI moves up to the fences for the first time on Tuesday. He is worth a look in horse racing betting.
There was a third-place finish for him on his hurdles debut at Taunton four months ago and has quickly been switched to the fences.
Aeornisi will have his first run for a new top yard.
TWENTY TWENTY looks the best of the rest in what is a really thin field. He was fourth at Plumpton on his latest.
That’s the venue at which he got off the mark over the fences in early 2021.
There hasn’t been anything like that since but should have the beating of a few of these.

MY GIRL LOLLIPOP has put in a couple of credible runs, claiming back to back runner-up spots.
She doesn’t look to be too far away from a win.
The latest of those was at Doncaster and now coming into handicapping for the first time, has a lot to offer.
A wind op has really kicked My Girl Lollipop into gear this season.
SAINTE DOCTOR was a runner up at Fakenham on her first effort at this distance for her latest.
That should put her in good stead for a bold run. It’s been a good season for Sainte Doctor who opened with a victory.
DARIYA can strong from nowhere to score at Huntington on her penultimate run. That was earlier this month.
She followed up at Stratford only three days ago when the conditions didn’t quite suit. If this isn’t too soon she could have a say.
DICEY RIELLY is another to watch in this competitive field as she has been moved over to the handicaps quickly.
That was after a nice fourth-place finish in a novice effort over the timbers at Wincanton three weeks ago.

CLEMENCIA has found some good consistent form, having taken a third-place finish in each of his last three.
The latter of those was a good effort at Hereford 41 days ago.
He has come down 1lb from that and the form from the Hereford race reads pretty well.
KILBROOK claimed a win at the start of the season at Carlisle and has stayed in decent form since without adding another win.
The latest effort from Kilbrook was at Ludlow a month ago and there is likely another strong run to come from him.
PREMIER D’TROICE put in a lively effort when seen at Warwick in a handicap chase a couple of weeks ago.
He hasn’t taken a victory since last summer, but that recent run may well give him something to build on, so Premier D’Troice makes the shortlist.
CAPTAIN BIGGLES was not at his best on his latest, taking a fourth palace finish at Ayr in a novice’s hurdle.
This will be the chase debut for Captain Bigger but he arrives having had a wind op. He’s no forlorn hope.

STORM OF LIGHT may be hard to knock over in this one as he has been in excellent form lately.
He banked a win at Uttoxeter in November over the hurdles, beating one that has since gone on to win twice.
It’s been a back to back place finish for Storm Of Light since that win and he sets the standard in this field.
RIVER LEGEND was third at Chepstow in a novice contest 53 days ago.
He looked stronger in that one, his first go at the fences since a wind op.
River Legend now makes the move to handicapping and is also pushed up in trips so he can’t be dismissed.
APPLE ROCK could also get in it as he won three times in the previous campaign.
He was back in form when he claimed a place finish at Hereford last month.

DAYMAN was a winner at this venue a couple of weeks ago on his latest run.
That was a very comfortable score from him, which hints that there is plenty more to come from him on his handicap debut.
BELTANE has some good previous form behind him as a juvenile. The price for that is a tough opening mark.
The pick of his form was a victory at Ayr last year to end his season with. He comes up on a trip for his handicap debut.
STORMY OCEAN was a winner at Newcastle in a minor event on his most recent run, which was 75 days ago.
He too makes the switch to the handicaps for the first time and looks like a promising sort who could make his presence felt.
