Live In The Moment claimed four straight wins to finish off last season and that is his first run for 10 months. If that isn’t a problem then he could make his presence felt coming up 4lb.

RAAEB poses a threat as well in this one and he has claimed a win before at Chelmsford City, which was in April.

He does have the advantage of being match fit having the last run three weeks ago at Lingfield and the visor goes back on.

STRAWBERRY JACK definitely warrants respect as he is going down in Grade. He is giving weight to the field but looks like a good fit.

Strawberry Jack has won a couple of times before at Chelmsford City and the last time that he was at Class 5 he won.

There has been some recent strong and consistent form from him at higher levels than this, so with the visor back on, looks a strong one to roll with.

LIGER KING piques some interest at longer odds. He never got settled at Lingfield on his latest run and remains a maiden.

SAUNTON needs to be feared in this contest at a quote of 9/2* (betting odds recorded 18:24 GMT on August 2nd 2021 at William Hill).

There was a very encouraging run from him just shy of a week ago. That was a runner-up spot for Richard Hannon’s gelding.

That was on a 7f trip at Leicester and stuck to his work very well. This looks to be a slightly weaker race than that, so Saunton could show well.

GOSNAY GOLD is another that warrants some respect. There was a win for him at Chepstow in June and he went well 19 days ago at Epsom in taking a runner-up spot.

The other to watch is SMOOTH SPIRIT who was also a runner-up on his latest run.

This is the debut on the Polytrack for him and he retains the cheekpieces. He looks to be in fine fettle for the switch and poses a threat.

KONDRATIEV WAVE looks a threat from 4/1 as a racing tip* (betting odds recorded 18:24 GMT on August 2nd 2021 at William Hill).

He collected a win on his penultimate run, which was in May. So he has a course and distance win under his belt.

There was a good follow up to that latest score as well. He was fourth behind Mr Tyrrell at Windsor on his latest run, 50 days ago.

MR TYRRELL does rate a threat as well. He has won two of his last three including that win at Windsor ahead of Kondratiev Wave.

The latest of those successes was 12 days ago at Sandown. He should go well again.

RIVER DAWN could have a bounce back performance in store here. He won on his penultimate run, which was at Windsor in May.

He also has a course and distance win under his belt, so reckons well for this one.

He wasn’t quite at his sharpest at Chelmsford City on his latest but is better than that.

This will be his fourth racetrack appearance, and he opened his account three weeks ago. That was over course and distance.

Entwistle comes into handicapping for the first time here and has been handed a tricky mark of 80. But he looks as if he has further improvement to go.

The big threat to him is STREET KID. There should be a decent run in him because a sharp pace in this one is likely to suit him.

He is still a maiden, but has been getting better and better and doesn’t look to be too far away from getting off the mark.

He looks like he will be well suited to this distance and he has been shaping as he will flourish at something like this.

Eclipse De Luna has stayed well on his last two on shorter trips, and he looks to be in with a good chance of landing a win.

BERRY EDGE dug in well to score at Beverley on his latest run. He comes up a long way on the trip, but he brings form to the table.

FANDABIDOZI isn’t out of it either. He has been in very consistent form and picked up a good second place at Ayr 8 days ago. H

e takes a drop of 1lb and that could just help him raise his game to get in the thick of it.
