TECHNIQUE looks like a massive threat in this one at 9/4* (betting odds recorded 16:35 GMT on 10thth August 2021 at Coral).

This has to be within her range. Already this season there has been a strong fourth place finish at the Nassau Stakes (Group 1) and then a very close second in a Group 3.

Technique comes from a yard that is in form and Oisin Murphy has been booked for the ride as well. She has a big chance on Wednesday.

LADY HAYES is a former course winner and can get herself well in this contest.

There have been back to back second place finishes for her, the most recent of those was at the Lancashire Oaks at Haydock 39 days ago.

GLORIA MUNDI still has plenty of improvement in her. After picking up a win on her debut, she has only had two further runs since then.

The move to the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot asked too much too soon for her. But Gloria Mundi has bigger runs in her.

ZWELELA piques some interest in this one at a quote of 6/1 as a horse racing tip* (betting odds recorded 16:35 GMT on 10thth August 2021 at Coral).

She has gone well in her last two runs and looks to be nice and competitive right now. She has won a couple of times this year, but not for a while.

But Zwelela has definitely been shaping much better in her recent efforts and could go on to find further improvement.

SEVENAL struggled on his handicap debut at Nottingham with the cheekpieces on. He has been gelded since that fifth-place finish 70 days ago.

The form he showed to claim a win at Windsor in May proves he is better than that latest run.

The big player in the field is likely to be ARIEL who has been in superb form recently.

He completed a hattrick earlier this season and posted a good runner-up finish at Doncaster on his latest.

ADDITIONAL is going to be the pick in this contest at a quote of 3/1* (betting odds recorded 16:35 GMT on 10thth August 2021 at Coral).

Having fallen down the weights to a competitive mark, that easing of the grade should give him a very big chance in this one.

Additional has been gelded since his last run as well and have brought in Oisin Murphy to guide the 4-year-old.

The form of UNDER CURFEW cannot be ignored, having won all four runs this season.

The most recent of those was a month ago at Chepstow. There has been a 4lb rise for that win, but he should still be in this.

DELAGATE THIS LORD is the other to watch for the shortlist. He was a good second on his new yard debut last time out.

That was at Bath on his return three weeks ago and could be competitive.

We are sticking with the current 2/1 favourite THE THUNDERER as our horse racing tip* (betting odds recorded 16:35 GMT on 10thth August 2021 at Coral).

He has been getting better this season. That improving form was confirmed last time out with a course and distance win a month ago.

That came immediately after a rare poor effort from him, which suggests that it was an anomaly. Back on track and potentially thriving, The Thunderer is the way to go.

MOKTASAAB is probably going to be helped out quite a bit by a drop in grade. He has also been gelded since his 4th at Newbury 41 days ago.

The other big player in this contest could be ANGEL ON HIGH who needs a bounce back.

On his penultimate run, he was in cracking form, taking second-place at Kempton. He wasn’t quite on it on his latest run but had excuses on softer ground.

It could be worth taking a chance on RIKNNAH to produce a strong bounce back performance on Wednesday.

She is a quote of 11/2 to land the victory* (betting odds recorded 16:35 GMT on 10thth August 2021 at Coral).

Earlier this season she comfortably completed a hattrick, that being completed on her handicap debut in June.

RIknnah struggled on her last run, which was at Newmarket, but that may have just been asking too much of her in a much hotter contest.

This is an easier assignment and is worth another chance. PRONTISSIMO is a course and distance winner.

He showed good form again last time out, finding only a very good progressive gelding too good for him on the day at Doncaster on his handicap debut.

WAKE UP HARRY looks better than his bare result at Epsom on his latest run.

The track may not have suited him there as he was out of things with a furlong to go. But Wake Up Harry looks a better prospect than that.

He was at course and distance on his latest run and went very well to stick in there for a fourth place finish.

So Golden Claim is entitled to come on from that effort and he has won at course and distance before. Overall it’s been solid form from him this season, so is well worth a look.

SUNSET was close to breaking his maiden on his latest run. There was a wonderfully strong finish from him at Lingfield. He stays at the same weight and could enjoy the extra furlong here.

ZHANG FEI has the blinkers applied for the first time. There was a very encouraging run from him last time out to take a third place finish in a Newmarket handicap. A good draw will help.
