Today’s horse racing tips for Wednesday are pulled from Kelso, Sandown and Yarmouth.

The top race of the day is from Sandown and that will be the Chasemore Farm Fortunes Stakes (Listed at 15:30.

Race Preview

This big fixture could be taken by MOSTAHDAF on Wednesday as he heads to Sandown looking for a bounce-back performance.

He was last seen in the Group 1 St James’s Palace Stakes.

His chance of winning that was shredded after being hampered so there were excuses there, but by the same token, he never looked in top form that day.

However, Mostahdaf was in superb form before that, winning all three trips at the start of his career. One of those was a course and distance score in the Heron Stakes in May.

PEROTTO should be another with strong claims for this one. He has gone very well at Goodwood and in the Britannia at Royal Ascot, which he won.

This is an easier assignment for him than his credible fifth in the Group 2 Celebration Mile last month.

The other to watch in the match for horse racing betting is RHOSCOLYN. A change of yard has done wonders for him and notched up a hattrick earlier this season.

He can handle Listed companies well enough and should have place claims.

This is a wide-open contest and LOOK OUT LOUIS will pique interest as a horse racing tip. He has picked up a couple of wins from five runs this year.

There was a good third-place finish from him at Doncaster last weekend and looks to be in a good mood right now.

But there is a slight preference for KING OF STAR who scored easily at Pontefract on his latest effort.

That was 12 days ago. Michael Appleby’s gelding has been moved up to a career-high mark, but still rates as a danger.

NEWYORKSTATEOFMIND won his pearlite fixture, a debut on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton. The follow up was good as well, taking fourth from 5lb higher at Newmarket.

MARIE’S DIAMOND should have plenty to offer in this contest if she is on top of her game. She is the highest-rated runner in this field.

The last time she scored was at Ayr in July and was last in action at Ripon a couple of weeks ago, taking fifth in a field of eight.

She likes to dominate things and if she is allowed to do that, then she may prove tough to pick off.

Going for Willie Haggas is AJYAALL who was second in a minor effort at Ascot 12 days ago. He looks like he isn’t done progressing yet and should be competitive at this level.

CHANCE is a little bit of an enigma at the moment because he looks as if he should be a lot better than his bare results have shown.

The 5-year-old is unexposed and could rate as a lively outsider in this Yarmouth contest.

SPIRIT OF THE BAY is running really hot right now. The three-year-old completed a hattrick at Kempton just 12 days ago.

She is thriving right now and in getting that Kempton score, which was at a 1m trip, she came from a long way back.

Spirit Of The Bay got the win by almost two lengths. There has been a price to pay of a 6lb rise for her, but gets a 3-year-old allowance here so is reasonably treated.

FLYING WEST from deeper down the field returns from a couple of months away. There is promise after a good third-place finish at Lingfield on her penultimate.

Flying West is usually pretty reliable and could be chanced to bounce back after a very rare slack effort back at that same venue 65 days ago. The rest may have helped.

MADAME TANTZY can’t be ruled out of this after picking up a win at Goodwood 19 days ago. Her form has been more towards the inconsistent side this season.

But if she can build on that recent Goodwood score then there is a reasonable chance that she will be in the frame.

SHETLAND BUS can’t be taken lightly for this contest after running into some great form recently, including the completion of a hattrick.

He wasn’t far away from taking it to a four-timer either after taking second at Uttoxeter a week ago.

There was enough to suggest that he has room to work with in the handicapping still.

Another bold effort is expected from him. FRIGHTENED RABBIT comes back up on a trip and that should suit him more.

There was a solid effort dealing with a 5lb race at Cartmel from him 18 days ago. Frightened Rabbit has been kept sharp with racing on the flat behind him. He can’t be counted out of this.

GIOVANNI CHANGE interesting had Ask Paddington and Shetland Bus behind him at Aintree earlier this year.

He comes down on a trip after a decent effort at Market Rasen on his latest run and has enough to get involved.

There are plenty in this field carrying some good form at the moment. Among those is TONTO’S SPIRIT who has won three of five efforts this season.

His latest was 16 days ago at Cartmel, a venue where he goes well. There is a 5lb rise for him to deal with and there will be question marks in taking on a new venue.

EL BORRACHO could be a little more convincing although he steps into a tougher test. Back in August on his latest field, he destroyed a field at Sedgefield by 11 lengths. It’s been a decent start to life over the fences for him.

CRACKING DESTINY could take charge of this competitive handicap. He collected a win at Stratford last month on his latest.

There is an extra 5lb for him to work with in this one, but it’s been such an exciting and progressive season for him, he is entitled to put together a bold effort.
