Today’s horse racing tips look at the action from Ffos Las, Kempton and Warwick on Wednesday.

The first race favourite of the day for horse racing betting is HILL SIXTEEN at 11/4* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:05 GMT on Tuesday, 17th November 2020).

He wi’ll be making his reappearance run here.

Hill Sixteen scored on his chase debut at Sedgefield in his penultimate race.

He followed that up with a second place effort back on the flat at Newcastle.

Hill Sixteen was overall a decent hurdler and he goes for Nigel Twiston-Davies for the first time here.

So his yard is in form and he looks as if he has some very strong claims in this fixture on what will be his first run since January.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

There is a good competition here. We are considering DESTINED TO SHINE for the shortlist. He scored a good one on his reappearance run in October. That was at Uttoxeter, a venue at which he won last year.

He failed to get going on his last run, but that was a quick turn around after that Uttoxeter success so can be forgiven.

Destined To Shine has been away for a month and should be fresh for a bold challenge.

He makes it as our pick at 9/1* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:05 GMT on Tuesday, 17th November 2020).

BEAN IN TROUBLE could be that much better for a reappearance run. He went into chasing action after an 8-month break last month.

That was in a Carlisle fixture here he took a fifth place finish. Both the experience and the run for sharpness should benefit him further.

This will be his handicap debut so there should be more to come.

SERMANDO is the current 10/3 favourite for this handicap rhule action from Ffos Las* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:05 GMT on Tuesday, 17th November 2020).

This will be his first run of the new season having been away for nine months.

He was really coming into some good form last season, including a win in his penultimate race.

Sermando does look to have plenty of room for improvement and should come back with a good challenge.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

The pick for us though is EXPLOITEUR who scored a second place finish on his reappearance for this season.

That was at Bangor and that is a run that will benefit him ahead of this one. He looked a vastly improved horse in that run as well.

Just like Sermando, Exploiteur is fairly low mileage still and he could get there.

Exploiteur is our 7/2 selection* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:05 GMT on Tuesday, 17th November 2020).

It may be worth a chance on EATON HILL as well for some longer odds. He returned from 10-months away from racing to make an impressive reappearance.

That was three weeks ago when he took fourth place in a field of 13 at Bangor over the hurdles.

With a kick forward from that after having gotten some air in his lungs, he could have place claims.

This is a good test of stamina for these veterans who are taking on a 3m trip. PRESENT MAN is the current 9/4 favourite for the trip* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:05 GMT on Tuesday, 17th November 2020)

He opened the season with a score, which was in a veterans handicap chase at Chepstow.

But then he followed that up with a fairly poor and lethargic effort in a Wincanton 3m trip.

That was a race that Present Man had won a couple of times before. Will he snap back to form for trainer Paul Nicholls? He’s probably not worth writing off just yet.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

VALTOR has put a reappearance run under his belt. That was at Ascot and he finished well down the field.

But he looked as if he badly needed that run after a long break.

This will be his first time in a veterans contest and so Valtor does have some appeal. He will be fitter than last time out that’s for sure.

The other that we would look for in this field is STRONG PURSUIT who looks to be the best of the best here.

He’s not always game enough for handlers, but he could be a player in this sphere.

He has generally done better when a bit fresher and he’s been away for the best part of 11 months.

This is an All Weather Championship Fast-Track Qualifier so this is going to be a cracker.

Heading up the market is KHUZAAM at 7/4* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:05 GMT on Tuesday, 17th November 2020).

This will be his first run since showing up in this race 12 months ago. He went very well in that fixture, claiming a second place finish.

This will only be the sixth start of his career but has scored over course and distance in two of his previous three.

Khuzaam is a very talented horse, but that is a lengthy absence that he will be dealing with as he returns to happy hunting grounds.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

JOHAN takes some fancy in this one as he has a good attitude and can dig out more when needed.

He is sitting on a hat trick at the moment as well for trainer William Haggas.

The three-year-old gets a weight-for-allowance and we think that he is going to be the one to beat at this higher level.

He is intriguing at 5/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:05 GMT on Tuesday, 17th November 2020).

The other shortlist selection is KINROSS who has been having a busy season, so we like that he is match fit. He is carrying some smart form.

He was out of sorts on his last effort however when he finished last in a Newbury Listed run.

But Kinross has had a couple of months away from the track and it may not take much to get back to form.

ON TO VICTORY is the market leader for horse racing betting here at 11/8* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:05 GMT on Tuesday, 17th November 2020).

He has been delivering some really smart goals this season.

In his last race he picked up a win at Doncaster in a field of 23. That was only 11 days ago and he was staying on strongly in the fixture.

This is a jump up in trip for On To Victory, but he looks as if he could be a big player for Alan King.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

SOGHAN has a weight advantage over most of the field and we like his chances in this one.

The Richard Hughes-trained Soghan is a course and distance winner.

He also picked up a victory on his last run as well, which was about two months ago at Wolverhampton around the 2m distance.

There has only been a small rise in the ratings and he has great claims for something special at 7/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:05 GMT on Tuesday, 17th November 2020).

ROCK EAGLE is the other that we are going to pen in on the shortlist. He has dropped 1lb after a fifth place finish at Cesarewitch.

He will be making his debut on polytrack but he has shown enough this season to warrant some respect.

This is not as strong of a race as he faced last time out either.

Race Favourite

The favourite in this small field is JOHNNY DRAMA at 6/4* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:05 GMT on Tuesday, 17th November 2020).

We have to stick with him being the one to beat as well for trainer Andrew Balding.

Johnny Drama hit top form last time out when he scored a 6-runner handicap here.

He has taken on a 6lb rise after that effort from a couple of weeks ago. He retains the tongue strap and we expect him to produce another strong run.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

CEPHEUS went close on his one previous visit to kempton. He has Ryan Moore booked and that would be a good combo.

The last win that Cepheus picked up was at Goodwood back in July.

The last run that he had was about a month ago, finishing fourth in a Doncaster handicap (behind Johnny Drama). There are claims there.

While TULIP FIELDS is in the mix, who beat both Johnny Drama and Cepheus at Doncaster in October, we are going to look at PIRATE KING.

He is going to need to find a lot more as he is up 8ln in the ratings. But it’s been two wins from two runs from him so far.

This will be his first effort since February, but we see place claims there.
