Today’s horse racing tips for midweek come from Ludlow, Wolverhampton and Southwell as we once again mix up flat and national hunt picks.
The top race of the day is the 13:45 Ludlow which is a Class 2 Handicap Chase.

FIDELIO VALIS has come on very well this year. There was a four-timer completed by him recently as he returned with back to back wins.
So after his previous fine campaign, he has picked up where he left off.
Fidelio Valis was last seen at Cheltenham two months ago and the track didn’t suit him at all. He should be back in the mix.
DESQUE DE L’ISLE is another rapid improver having taken a win at Ffos Las on a 2m trip in October.
He beat one in that race who has since gone on to win as well.
He was pushed into a stronger race on a follow-up and was not discredited with a fourth-place finish at Sandown.
Desque De L’Isle should be a big player.
ROCKSTAR RONNIE is an interesting one as he completed a double with both scores at Kempton.
The latter was on the fortunate side. He just about stuck to his task to get the win.
This is a tougher race for him, but if he can build further Rockstar Ronnie could get in the picture.
NOT AVAILABLE is another that could get on the shortlist because he has produced some very good consistent form.
He comes up 3lb from a win at Newbury in a novice handicap a month ago. He’s a battler.

DUBLIN FOUR easily gets on the shortlist for horse racing tips in this contest. He returned to action recently with a score at Newbury.
That was such a comfortable victory for him, on what was his first run for a new yard, that he should have more to offer in his sphere.
THE NEWEST ONE looks to have a good chance based on his current form.
He has won two of his last three, the victories coming at Newcastle and Doncaster.
Although the latest win came against a fairly weak field, there was still clear improvement made by The Newest One. Claims are strong.
SMARTY WILD picked up a third palace finish at Ascot on his latest run. He didn’t really look as if he had the heart for that one.
But Smarty Wild has performed well over the fences and if he finds any kind of revival he could find himself involved.

DARWELL LION looks like being a strong player in this one, although it looks like being a competitive race.
Darwell Lion delivered a career-best two weeks ago over course and distance to score in a handicap. He should be back in the mix.
JEWEL MAKER is going well at the moment and claimed a good strong second-place finish two weeks ago at course and distance.
Better positioning in the race could have seen her go better. Jewel Maker clearly rates as a danger.
LEQUINTO is a former course winner and gave a good account of himself in defeat over C&D on his latest. He comes down in grease.
STARRY EYES didn’t have a great run last time out at Kempton two weeks ago.
But she is much better than that and is more than capable of making her presence heavily felt.

ROYDMOOR could be another big player as he comes up 4lb. That was after keeping on well to earn a score at Newcastle three weeks ago.
OOH IS IT recently picked up a double as he found himself in improved form.
He missed out on the hattrick when he was sixth over course and distance.
That was 25 days ago, but it was a respectable enough run to give Ooh Is It place claims.
THE DALEY EXPRESS won at course and distance on his penultimate run.
He was left poorly placed on a follow up at Southwell on his latest but could respond back on the Tapeta.

INVINCIBLE LARNE claimed a win at the course and distance eleven days ago. He should be back as a big player therefore on Wednesday.
It has been three wins that Invincible Larne has claimed this year.
That last run was his first for a new yard, so that was some further positive for him.
He comes up 3lb for what is a tougher race than his last.
ALABLAQ is no forlorn hope if he continues his progress for his new yard.
He didn’t fare well at Wolverhampton on his latest. But as he comes down on the trip, he may receive a boost for that.
DEWEY ROAD will pique some interest for the shortlist as well.
He gets the hood for the first time and gets his first run since a wind op. Those could be factors for him to spark a revival.
TIPPERARY TIGER is the final one that could be considered for the shortlist.
He won at Leicester in October and after struggling to find a position at Newcastle on his latest to take fourth place, he may not be out of this.

He was seen over the fences in the summer in which he took a good win in a small field.
Ashington could be sitting on a good mark, but faces a tough stablemate challenge in the form of ONESMOOTHOPERATOR.
The latter has taken three straight runner-up finishes.
So he has been in good heart recently but just missing that winning touch. Onesmoothoperator is likely to be right there.
KENTUCKY KINGDOM is the other that could find himself involved. He fought here at Southwell on his latest.
There will be a slight question mark about the trip for him here, but place claims should be there.
