The top selection for the day is IRISH LEGEND at 10/3 who will aim to stay undefeated on the all-weather* (betting odds recorded 17:18 GMT on 24th August 2021 at William Hill).

Things have been tricky for him in recent efforts on the turf, not having had the greatest of luck.

So the move back to the all-weather, where has won his two previous efforts, looks like a good move.

The cheekpieces also go back on for Irish Legend and look to move on from a fourth at Goodwood a month ago.

ZIKANY rates a threat with Ryan Moore in the saddle.

He has not been out of the top three in any of his last four runs. That form includes a win at Windsor in May.

There’s plenty to like about him, but this is going to be a stiffer challenge for him. Zikany comes up in class and has an extra 1lb in the ratings to deal with.

KING OF TSAVO is the other one to consider for the shortlist in this contest on Wednesday.

He has made one previous visit to Kempton and he won that. He gets the blinkers applied for the first time and has a reasonable shot at the places.

This looks like being a good competitive contest. There are deep claims through the field in this one.

PRAXEOLOGY is the horse racing tip at 5/1* (betting odds recorded 17:18 GMT on 24th August 2021 at William Hill).

He will be under a 5lb penalty for Wednesday’s action after a score at Southwell 10 days ago. He kept on strongly in that contest.

That’s two wins in his last four runs now, and that latest one was a clear return to top form. He pulled away impressively at the finish and is worth another look.

LEZARDRIEUX rates a danger in the field as well. He arrives on the same mark as he was when he earned second at Pontefract 10 days ago.

That was in a handicap and he pulled away from the rest of the pack in that one to comfortably earn the runner up spot.

A former winner at the course is ERICH BLOCH who piques plenty of interest on his return.

He has performed well before. He’s not to be counted out of this despite being at longer odds in horse racing betting.

This is another tricky handicap for Wednesday’s horse racing action. SPECIAL DIRECTORY is of interest as she continues to progress well.

There could still be more to come from the lightly-raced maiden. Special Directory showed plenty of promise with a third at Newcastle three weeks ago.

But slight preference is for SPRING GLOW at a quote of 11/2* (betting odds recorded 17:18 GMT on 24th August 2021 at William Hill).

She looked in good nick a couple of weeks ago at Wolverhampton, taking a fourth-place handicap finish there, even though that was last in the small field.

That wasn’t her type of race, and the stiffer challenge here should help.

The interesting thing for Spring Glow is that she is now 2lb lower than her last winning mark.

FROW looks to be the way to go in this Lingfield handicap on Wednesday. He comes in at a quote of 11/4* (betting odds recorded 17:18 GMT on 24th August 2021 at William Hill).

There is a lot to like about him, and his latest piece of form, a second-place over course and distance 18 days ago reads well.

With William Buick booked for the ride as well, then Frew should be involved at the business end of things.

Another to watch for is WALEYFA who did a good solid job on her handicap debut at Kempton two weeks ago.

The one mile trip that she went on there looked to be a little beyond her, so the shorter trip could put her in the frame.

BUSINESS has some solid claims as well after taking a second-place finish at Wolverhampton a month ago.

Form from that race has been franked with the winner going on to score again since.

JORDAN ELECTRICS is at the same mark as he was when he went for a hattrick bid at Hamilton 8 days ago.

He ended up in second place there but warrants huge respect again. He is a previous course and distance winner and is in great shape at the moment.

Jordan Electrics will have his first run for a new yard on Wednesday and he looks like the one to beat in the contest.

So she naturally makes for a reasonable selection with the cheekpieces on for the first time. Wings Of A Dove was second three weeks ago at Brighton.

He looks like a very good gelding who is not going to be far away.
