Tuesday Racing Taunton 16.35 Odds – Adherence is 7/1 with Bet365 for a change of luck

Stick with Adherence at Taunton

Horse Racing Betting

The Bet At racingtv.com Handicap Chase is possibly one of the more interesting races on Tuesday’s card at Taunton, even though there are only six runners.

The 3m2f 0-115 handicap is worth almost £5,500 to the winner but some arrive in better form than others.

Big rise in the weights a concern for likely hot favourite

Putdecashonthedash has been raised 10lb for a workmanlike win in a novices’handicap at Wincanton.
He wasn’t winning out of turn but the handicapper has taken exception to the manner of the victory and he is certainly no certainty at a best 11/8 at Taunton against seemingly better-treated rivals

Benechenko worth opposing again

After 12 runs over hurdles and fences, Benechenko is still seeking a first victory.
The cardinal rule is don’t back a maiden in a handicap but there are exceptions. However, Fergal O’Brien’s eight-year-old just isn’t getting any nearer and a best 9/2 with Bet365 is giving nothing away..

Tizzard runner yet to shine away from favourite track

Never Learn hasn’t had much racing over the last couple of years but still hasn’t won anywhere except on the figure-of-eight track at Fontwell.
He’s hardly set the world alight in two runs this season and there is still a question mark hanging over him at Taunton. Available at 13/2 with Unibet.

Verse waiting for better ground

It doesn’t take much scrutiny to work out that Flying Verse runs his best races in the summer months and on quicker going than he’ll get at Taunton.
The top weight has only raced once since October and was pulled up and it will be a surprise if he fares much better in his second race since his break at 7/1 with 888sport.

Adherence just in need of some luck

ADHERENCE really hasn’t had much good fortune since successful at Taunton in November.
He fell at the first next time at Catterick and confidence has clearly been affected as an early mistake unsettled him at Chepstow. There were also errors at Doncaster but it later transpired that he’d shed a plate.
It might be a step up in trip will give him more time to measure his fences and he clearly likes Taunton as he is 2-2 at the track. With the handicapper also showing some mercy, the 7/1 with Bet365 is quite appealing.

Rest may have benefited much-improved west country stayer

Bryony Frost is back on board her father’s Findusatgorcombe, who made giant strides at the end of last year.
He looked ready for a break when tailed off at Wincanton in December but an earlier fourth behind Copperhead at the same track is solid form.
He’s probably too high in the weights at present but it would be no surprise if he gave backers a run for their money at the general 8/1, though better ground would have suited him better.
