Two punters scooped winnings of over €12,000 between them last Friday at bookmaker Boylesports. Both punters had struck a €1 Lucky 15 bet with the bookmaker on Friday evening’s racing.
One of them had picked out four winners from Newcastle which included 12/1 shot Mudawwan to pocket a cool €7,292.
The second punter picked up a €5,190 return with three selections from Dundalk and one from Newcastle in their Lucky 15. Both of the winners were from Louth.
Boylesports’ Lawrence Lyons said: “The results just weren’t going our way at Dundalk and Newcastle with winners coming at us from all angles and we must congratulate both our Louth punters, who unbeknownst to each other, served us a Friday night mauling between them with their astute picking.”
