The Europa League is down to the final four and here we are taking a look at Europa League semi-final betting odds.

There is the possibility of an all-English final as well with Manchester United and Arsenal on opposite sides of the semi-final draw.

It is the Red Devils who are the current outright favourite to get their hands on the silverware this season.

Manchester United v Roma

Manchester United are the Even money favourites to win the tournament outright* (odds recorded on April 21st, 2021 at 03:44 GMT at BetVictor).

It was at this stage of last season’s campaign that Manchester United’s European run came to an end, losing against Sevilla.

They have a home advantage for this first leg, so will be aiming to build up a comfortable lead to defend in Italy.

Manchester United’s season did start in the Champions League, but they could only finish third behind PSG and Leipzig.

In dropping down other Europa League, they have been fairly comfortable. They took a 4-0 aggregate win over Real Sociedad in the Round of Sixteen.

It was then a 2-1 aggregate success over Italian opponents AC Milan. In the quarter-finals the Red Devils made light work of Granada, winning 4-0 on aggregate.

It is seventeen matches unbeaten by United in the Europa League, winning thirteen of those.

Their home form against Italian visitors at Old Trafford is W13 D3 L3. Their record, overall against Roma is W4 D1 L1.

This is a tough draw for Roma who don’t have a great record in England.

They have taken a W1 D6 L10 record from their 17 previous trips to England.

They are a quote 9/2 underdogs for the first leg of this tie in Europa League betting* (odds recorded on April 21st, 2021 at 03:44 GMT at BetVictor).

This is the first time in the semi-finals of the Europa League for Roma, comfortably getting past Braga, Shakhtar Donetsk and Ajax in the knockout phases.

Their overall match record in the knockout phase of the Europa League is W5 D2 L2.

There really does appear to be an uphill struggle ahead for Roma in the Europa League semi-finals, as they have lost their last seven two-legged ties against English opponents.

To Qualify Odds: Man Utd 1/3, Roma 9/4

Villarreal v Arsenal Europa League Odds

Arsenal are back in the semi finals of the Europa League for the first time since 2018. They will be duelling with Villarreal for a place in the Final.

The Gunners have to deal with a tricky away match in the first leg at the Estadio de la Ceramica.

The Premier League side are the 7/4 underdogs for success in the first leg of this tie* (odds recorded on April 21st, 2021 at 03:44 GMT at BetVictor).

However, they hold a W2 D2 L0 head to head record against Villarreal from previous meetings.

This is the first meeting between the clubs since a Champions League quarter-final clash in 2009.

From their 35 previous UEFA fixtures against Spanish teams, Arsenal have posted a W12 D8 L15 record.

Their overall record from two-legged ties against Spanish opposition is W6 L5.

The underdog outlook for them does look realistic, at least for this first leg. Arsenal have won only three of their previous 16 visits to Spain.

But can the Premier League side ride some good current away form in the competition?

Arsenal are undefeated in their last 12 Europa League games, nine of those ending in victory.

In Europa League betting, Villarreal are 31/20 to pick up the victory* (odds recorded on April 21st, 2021 at 03:44 GMT at BetVictor).

Villareal boss Unai Emery knows Arsenal very well, of course, having served time as a manager there.

The club have been in this position twice before, but Villarreal lost both of those previous Europa League semi final ties.

They have never won a major piece of European silverware.

On home turf, they are W13 D2 L4 in the knockout phase of the competition. Each of the losses in that sequence coincided with them getting eliminated.

This is going to be a really interesting tie.

To Qualify Odds: Arsenal 4/6, Villarreal 11/10
