Uganda are in a fairly strong place at the moment. They have lost just one of their last twelve fixtures. A large part of that relative success is down to how well they have done defensively. Given that they don’t look to possess a big attacking threat, their defence is vitally important to them. Uganda have taken four clean sheets in their last six games. If they hold out for a draw, that gets them a guaranteed top two finished. The worst-case scenario is that they drop to third and wait to see if they would go through as one of the best third-placed teams.
