Race Favourite

The race favourite is MODMIN in this handicap at 7/4* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 02:57 GMT on Sunday, 27th September 2020).

The gelding has been lightly raced but on his reappearance went very well to record a second place finish at Chepstow.

He followed that up with a score at Goodwood and was very comfortable in getting it as well.

Modmin comes into his handicap debut here, and has just been getting better and better. So he looks to be opening up on a fair mark and should be a big player in this field.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

TURN ON THE CHARM warrants a look for the contest as well because there has been excellent progression from him over his last three races.

He won on his last trip, a mile run at Kempton which was 40 days ago. He turned on the speed at the end to get that win and looked impressive.

He has to go on the shortlist coming up in grade and is our pick at 4/1* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 02:57 GMT on Sunday, 27th September 2020).

Another that is heading in the right direction is ZEZENIA who has scored in two of her last three runs.

She’s another that has been lightly raced as well. It was a career best effort last time out for her, getting a score at Salisbury over a mile. She commanded the finish there too.

Race Favourite

NO SPEAK ALEXANDER is a strong 6/4 favourite for this one at the Curragh* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 02:57 GMT on Sunday, 27th September 2020).

She should be in the frame hereafter picking up one win from her last three runs.

That score happened at Roscommon in July and showed up very well in a listed race on her last trip.

That was a 7f trip at Leopardstown a couple of weeks ago and took runner up behind MONDAY. She looks a very good fit for this one.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

AUNTY BRIDY has to come into the picture here as she was last seen at the Curragh in Group 1 company. That was just her second racetrack appearance after having scored on her debut.

She was by no means disgraced on ath last run which was at course and distance actually, a couple of weeks ago. There should be more to come from her.

MONDAY has to be sized up as well for this contest. Even though she didn’t get herself going really at the Rockfel at Newmarket on Friday, her effort prior to that stood out.

She shone among some good company at Leopardstown and despite the quick turnaround, may have some place claims.

14:50 Musselburgh UK Racing Odds & Tips

Machree 7/2
Treble Treble 5/1
Gowanbuster 13/2

MACHREE is the one to beat according to the market for this one as he is the 7/2 current favourite* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 02:57 GMT on Sunday, 27th September 2020). She scored a win at Thirsk at his distance in July.

Machree was back there three weeks ago and rattled the crossbar with only Autumn Flight getting the better of her.

She has won six times at this distance. A slight off-day for the five year old at Doncaster in between those two positives runs at Thirsk, isn’t enough to draw attention away from her.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

A shorter trip at 5f looks as if it could be a sizable help for TREBLE TREBLE who is being well supported in the market at the moment.

Treble Treble was last seen at York and was well in the mix for a long time in that one. He fell away though at the end and he keeps the blinkers on from that. It’s the drop in trip that really appeals.

There is likely to be a good strong account given by POWERALLIED as well. He is a former course and distance winner.

On his last run, he was fourth in a field of eleven at Chester on a 6f trip.

Powerallied was labouring just a bit late on, having nothing left in the tank to better fourth. But the drop back a furlong puts him in the picture.

Light’s On 11/10
Freyja 5/2

Race Favourite

This is a smaller field for Sunday and it is LIGHTS ON who is the 11/10 favourite for this Fillies’ Handicap action.

This will be just her third appearance and she got off the mark at the second of asking, delivering at Newcastle over a mile three weeks ago.

She has booked Ryan Moore which is a huge boon for her and LIGHTS ON is open to plenty more progress yet.

This is her handicap debut and has been fairly treated coming in at a mark of 80. She could be a player.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

NIRODHA is bang in form at the moment having won on her penultimate run, which was at Haydock last month. Last time out she went on a mile trip at Thirsk and put in a very good run to claim second there.

She was only beaten out by a neck and should be in the picture. It is Nirodha who goes as our pick at 13/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 02:57 GMT on Sunday, 27th September 2020).

DAWAAWEEN is another that is right in form at the moment and she is such a good, consistent runner.

She hasn’t taken a win in four however, but has put in some very respectable efforts in that sequence. Dawaaween was last in action at Thirsk in a 7f contest three weeks ago. She is shortlist material.

16:25 Nottingham Handicap UK Racing Odds & Tips

Danzeno 2/1
Bernardo O’Reilly 3/1

Race Favourite

DANZENO won his previous effort at this course and is the 2/1 favourite to follow up on a return to Nottingham on Sunday* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 02:57 GMT on Sunday, 27th September 2020). He gets a 5lb claimer as well which would be crucial.

He put in a fantastic effort on his last run as well, which was at Doncaster a couple of weeks ago. Danzeno pulled in second of a big field of 21. He was, notably, well clear of the rest of the pack behind him. That first win since return could be on the cards.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

BERNARDO O’REILLY can’t be overlooked for this contest either after an excellent effort in the recent Ayr Silver Cup.

He never had a good position but still produced a sixth place finish and he was powering to the line as well. That followed an excellent score at Doncaster.

He has a chance here and just gets the nod as our pick at 3/1* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 02:57 GMT on Sunday, 27th September 2020)

The other name picked out for this contest is ROULSTON SCAR who needs to bounce back. He will get his first run since wind surgery.

Back in January on his first effort for his new yard, he scored a win at Meydan, looking like a very good sprinter there.

16:50 Curragh Racing Odds & Tips

Dawn Patrol 7/4
Kastasa 11/4
Barrington Court 5/1
Traisha 6/1
Mighty Blue 6/1

Race Favourite

DAWN PATROL is the 7/4 favourite for this one* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 02:57 GMT on Sunday, 27th September 2020).

He has been nice and consistent this eason has the cold and on his last run was 6th in the St Leger at Doncaster.

Dawn Patrol also managed to get himself in the frame as well in the Irish Derby. There is a slight question over him staying the distance but he is a threat.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

KATASA is going to be a big player most likely. In a fairly similar contest at Naas on her last run, she was third.

It was a very credible, strong run which snapped her unbeaten career. She is a course and distance winner and the filly needs some respect in this one.

She gets the visor on for the first time and makes the list as our pick at 5/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 02:57 GMT on Sunday, 27th September 2020).

The final name for this one is BARRINGTON COURT who is coming up in trip and that makes him an interesting player.

He scored a win on his debut and then followed up with a second place in a listed race at Galway. That last effort was just under three weeks ago. There should be more to come from him.
