Race Favourite

The race favourite for this handicap is STAR OF WINS at 11/8* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:34 GMT on Monday, 14th August 2020). He is sitting on a hat trick coming into this fixture.

He scored on his handicap debut last month at Sandown, which was after getting off the mark in a Windsor maiden.

Star Of Wins is heading in the right direction for Willie Haggas and the progressive youngster is probably going to be in the frame.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

TRITONIC has knocked on the door in a couple of higher grade efforts than this for the season. He got a second in a handicap at Royal Ascot and then was in Listed company at Hamilton and finished runner-up there.

He was sixth in a run at Newbury last time out, but was never able to get into a good position.

Race Favourite

Heading up the field in this one is LEXINGTON FORCE at 10/3* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:34 GMT on Monday, 14th August 2020).

This will be just the third racetrack appearance for Richard Hannon’s colt. Lexington Force scored on his debut and followed that up with a second-place in his next run.

That second effort was a 1m trip a month ago at Kempton and was three-lengths back of the winner. It is reasonable enough to assume that there is more to come under handicapping terms.

HARRY GEORGE looks to be in good form at the moment and therefore can mount a good challenge.

It has been three wins in his last four runs now and he scored a course and distance win in June. His following score was under penalty, so has some very big claims at 13/2* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:34 GMT on Monday, 14th August 2020).

We would look at EAGLE COURT for our other pick here. He scored on his first effort as a three-year-old, but then struck out a little on his follow up.

It was a struggle for him to hold a straight line in an Ayr handicap three weeks ago, but is likely to be better for the experience.

We have a test of stamina in this 3m handicap chase at Hexham on Tuesday. The outright favorite is JEN’S BOY at 6/4* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:34 GMT on Monday, 14th August 2020).

Last season he won a couple of times over the hurdles and has come close on his two runs in this campaign.

Trainer Nicky Henderson probably has a good crack of winning this race with Jen’s Boy who gets the blinkers for the first time.

It has been back to back second-place finishes from Jen’s Boy on his two trips over the fences. Will it be third time lucky for him?

COURT DREAMING should be a player in this field as he put in a really battling performance on his last run.

That was at Perth when he one just found one too good for him. That was the best effort from him over the fences, as he was just edged on that one.

He has gone up just the 2lb and could be a decent player here as he looked settled at Perth.

The other pick for this trip is NORTONTHORPELEGEND who had a good reappearance run under his belt.

He took fourth over course and distance a couple of weeks ago and that was after a break of 7 months. He was consistent last season and can get in the frame after having gotten some wind in his lungs.

Race Favourite

This looks like a good open race and the current 3/1 favourite is CHANTECLER* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:34 GMT on Monday, 14th August 2020). There should be solid claims coming from him after posting a score at this distance a month ago at Stratford.

That was on his second run for his new yard, under the tutelage of Nicky Henderson. He has been moved up 9lb for this next run, but still has to be taken season. If he continues the progress for his new yard, he may be able to defy that rise.

It will be interesting to see what kind of form BLOORIEDOTCOM is in once he comes back into action. He is at a career-high market at the moment and he put down some great form last winter.

There were two wins in his last three runs of that campaign, both 2m trips at Musselburgh. He could be a big player if he’s immediately back in form from 17/2* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:34 GMT on Monday, 14th August 2020).

The other that we will shortlist is DOLLY DANCER who took on a course and distance run 13 days ago.

She goes back up a couple of markets, but she is still in a very workable position. On her last run, she claimed second place in a course and distance effort.

It is KYMATA who is at the head of the market from a current 11/4 quote for Race 6 at Hexham on Tuesday* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:34 GMT on Monday, 14th August 2020).

There was a second place finish from her on her last run, which was at Market Rasen last month. That effort was on her hurdles debut as well, so it was a pretty decent start.

Kymata has a 7lb claimer and the track conditions are likely to be in her favour as well. She will get a lot out of the former ground. There are some leading claims there.

ROBSAM will be going in his first handicap and Richard Johnson hops in the saddle for it. Robam was last seen at Bangor recently, where he was third of four, 38l being the winner.

But that was his reappearance run so he surely needed that one on the board, and this is a fairly weak contest, so he could show.

The other pick for this contest is THAT’S MY DUBAI who has looked much better since switching yards.

She is another who looks as if she really needed to get some time out on the track for her reappearance. She was sixth at Cartmel over the hurdle in a field of thirteen. There should be more to come.

For Race 6 from Kempton on Tuesday it is MYSEVEN and CHAIRMAN POWER who are the current joint 5/2 favourites* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:34 GMT on Monday, 14th August 2020).

MYSEVEN got off the mark on her most recent run, the third of her career. That was in a 13f novice a couple of weeks ago at Lingfield.

She was well in command of things there at the finish and came into handicaps for the first time.

CHAIRMAN POWER takes on Myseven once again because he was beaten by her in that aforementioned Lingfield trip recently.

That was his first effort since wind surgery and he looked pretty good in it. That was his first run in 13 months as well so that, combined with handicapping is likely to work in his favour.

There is not a particularly deep field out in his one. We already have two names, so the third will be BROWN HONEY.

He is a good performer on the polytrack so he is worth a look in this field, which isn’t deep in quality.

Brown Honey is low mileage, has Oisin Murphy on his back and on his day a solid performer .
