Race Favourite

The current favourite for this trip is RICH BELIEF at 15/8* (betting odds taken from Unibet at 23:37 GMT on Monday, 26th October 2020). This is the Millbry Hill Handicap at Catterick.

On his last run which was in August, Rich Belief carded a good third place at Newcastle on a 12f trip.

Rich Belief is fresh after the almost three-month break and therefore has to be considered. He has been steadily improving his form.

He will also be going off at 1lb lighter than he was for that run at Newcastle.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

This isn’t the strongest of renewals really. We would consider BEECHWOOD JUDE to put something decent togher.

On his repparance for this season he dug out a win in the mud over course and distance. So that has to count for something. He was disappointing back here last time out however.

But shrugging off a bad day could see him threaten.

BOLDER BOB could be worth a look as well. He was last seen over course and distance in heavy conditions 10 days ago.

He didn’t put in a bad shift there for his new yard either to claim 5th place. He just looks to be at a good place in the handicapping to put something together.

Race Favourite

This should be one of the big highlights of the day. Heading up the handicap hurdle action is GALILEO SILVER at 5/2* (betting odds taken from Unibet at 23:37 GMT on Monday, 26th October 2020).

He has been going well for his new yard this season. Galileo Silver opened with a second place finish and then followed up with a win in a novice event at Sedgefield.

He again impressed on his most recent run when taking runner up in a Newton Abbot handicap. He looks to have plenty about him to take this extra step forward to almost 3m.

Galileo Silver is heading in the right direction at the moment and he is probably the one who just sets the standard in the contest. He takes a hike of 2lb.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

TRANSPENNINE STAR is another that is worth looking at for the shortlist. He made a bold showing on his return to action, posting a win at Stratford in August.

He looked nice and sharp there. A fifth place in his follow up race, did disappoint. But that was only 9 days after scoring at Stratford.

He’s been resting for a couple of months so has to feature. We think he’s worth a look at 13/2* (betting odds taken from Unibet at 23:37 GMT on Monday, 26th October 2020).

The other name that we are sending to the shortlist for horse racing betting in this one is ZARAFSHAN. He was last seen taking a third place finish in a Ludlow event.

That form was franked by the winner of that going on to score impressively at Cheltenham last week. This is handicap debut and looks to be a competitive mark.

Race Favourite

GUARD YOUR DREAMS is the current 7/4 favourite for this trip at Bangor-on-Dee* (betting odds taken from Unibet at 23:37 GMT on Monday, 26th October 2020). This will be his third race track appearance and he will be looking to build on his first score last time out.

Guard Your Dreams had opened with a runner up spot in Warwick bumper. Then on his reappearance he delivered a win over course and distance on his hurdles bow. That was just back in September and he finished strongly.

There is a 6lb penalty for the course and distance winner to deal with. But it has been two very impressive runs from him so far.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

Another that is worth looking at is GRIZZMAN. He ran well on his first trip for his new stable, claiming a third palace finish at Fontwell.

He had been favourite for that bumper, but it was a very slow race which didn’t play to his favour.

He should be coming into his own now sharper and back over the obstacles and makes it as our tip at 5/1* (betting odds taken from Unibet at 23:37 GMT on Monday, 26th October 2020).

Our final selection for the shortlist will be MINELLA DRAMA. She was runner up in his two point to point efforts.

She will be coming into rules for the first time, but with trainer Donal McCain behind him for the first time, she is in good hands. The trainer has a great record at the track.

A nice sprint to look at here and it is REDROSEZORRO who heads up the market at 11/4* (betting odds taken from Unibet at 23:37 GMT on Monday, 26th October 2020). 10 days ago he was in action here at Catterick and claimed a win.

It was a course and distance success. It was also his third win at the track this season and he was, once again, staying on well.

So it is hard not to look at him back at the venue. He retains some headgear and it’s likely that he will be well in the mix again. He is up 4lb in the rating.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

BOSSIPOP is worth a look we feel. He was in action at pontefract last week when he took second behind John Kirkup.

We like the fact that he is going back to the 6f trip after that minimum trip last time out. It’s been a very solid season for the Tim Easteby-trainer Bossipop, who can get in the frame.

DREAM TOGETHER was just hitting a nice bit of form. It peaked with a score at Pontefract in August, before following up with a runner up spot earned in a Haydock contest.

He put in a poor shift on the all weather at Newcastle last time out though. But it may not take much to rediscover his best footing.

Race Favourite

Heading up this small field is BLACKJACK KENTUCKY at 5/2* (betting odds taken from Unibet at 23:37 GMT on Monday, 26th October 2020). We can picture him getting in the frame here if he picks straight up where he left off.

He won here in January in a novice hurdle, part of a very progressive spell for him. On his final start of last season he took on a 3m handicap trip and took a strong second place there. This will be the first run for Blackjack Kentucky since a wind operation too.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

The big threat to him will be LISODUIN BHEARNA. Back in February he got the better of Blackjack Kenty in a Doncaster handicap hurdle. He was giving 1lb to his opponent in that one, but scored by more than six lengths.

He, like Blackjack Kentucky, looks as if they have promising chase careers ahead of them. It should be a great rematch.

ASHFIELD PADDY would be the other pick to get on the list. Although we only see either of the two aforementioned runners getting it.

He was coming on well last season was Ashfield Paddy, scoring a couple of times at Haydock and Exeter in varying conditions. He is a former point winner so looks a good fit too for Chasing.

Last Autumn she showed up in a couple of maidens on the turf and just about made the frame in both of those. So it’s been over a year away from action for her. But she’s well bred for a middle distance run like this and needs to be watched.

Getting the nod for us though is CHEAP JACK at 3/1* (betting odds taken from Unibet at 23:37 GMT on Monday, 26th October 2020). It has been two wins in his last three runs.

The most recent of those was over course and distance just under a couple of weeks ago. Cheap Jack was keeping on well and with only a 2lb rise, should go strongly.

The final pick for this race is going to be MR CARBONATOR who was second to Cheap Jack at course and distance 12 days ago. That was a much improved run from him, but he remains winless since early 2018. Mr Carbonator has won at Southwell before, and seems to be at his best here.
