Race Favourite

VINO’S CHOICE is a 5/2 FAV option for this race* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:35 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020).

He hasn’t been far away from a score recently having taken three runners-up spots in his last four.

He has been right in the frame in each of his last four as he seeks his first score over the jumps. Last time out he was only beaten by one in a 2m trip at Perth in a handicap chase.

Given the way that his season is going, it is expected that he will be in the frame once again.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

We think that the threat of MY RENAISSANCE is bigger however. He is the 11/4 second favourite* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:35 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020).

In his penultimate race, My Renaissance scored a win. That success came at Sedgefield in September.

He was back at the same track on his last race, but he never quite got himself in a position to score. But the 10 year old took a third place finish in that most recent trip.

My Renaissance is likely to enter calculations.

Another that has been in good form this season is COURT JURADO. The former point winner is still waiting for his first score under rules. It’s been 11 previous attempts.

But he has been in the frame in each of his last five runs. He retains the blinkers for this one. After a very good third at Kelis on his most recent run, he is worth a look.

Race Favourite

HAN SOLO BERGER is the 5/2 favourite for this trip* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:35 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020).

He picked up a win on his last effort, posting a career best run to score at Wolverhampton a couple of weeks ago.

He got the win in that one by less than a length. But it was a big step forward for him.

The price for that victory was a 4lb rise in the ratings. That puts him up on a career high raing now as he comes back to action.

Han Solo Berger could have more to come of course and that victory at Wolverhampton sets him up well for a good winter now. That’s back to back wins now on the all-weather for him.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

GOOD EFFORT should be in the picture in this one. He has won his two trips this season so is sitting on a good seasonal hattrick.

The latest win that he took was here at Lingfield in February. That followed a victory at Wolverhampton.

Good Effort got the Lingfield score in a comfortable manner and he brings some solid claims to the table.

LEODIS DREAM looks capable and one to consider for a contest. He posted a good fourth-place finish at Wolverhampton last month on a 5f trip.

That was in a race won by Han Solo Berger and it was his second on the all-weather. Leodis Dream has a 5lb claimer and could be in the frame once again.

The current market leader in this one is PITCHER’S POINT at 11/4* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:35 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020).

He missed out on a hattrick last time out, trailing home last of seven at Sandown.

Pitcher’s Point is a former course and distance winner and he has picked up two wins from six trips this year.

The last win that he put on the board was in his penultimate fixture at Chelmsford City. This is going to be all about whether or not he can bounce back.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

Looking like a stronger option is MAKE IT RAIN at 10/3* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:35 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020).

He scored on his penultimate race which was on the all-weather at Wolverhampton in September. The difference between himself and the favourite, is that Make It Rain followed it up by rattling the crossbar in his next race.

So the form is there. While the draw in this one isn’t favourable, Make It Rain should enter calculations.

However, we are going to swing towards HMS PRESIDENT for the win on this one. He scored on his debut on the tapeta and so won’t mind the switch to all-weather.

Hms President is coming back up on trip for this contest and he has been in a really good heart lately. We are making him our pick at 4/1* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:35 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020).

Hms President is sitting well in the handicapping and there’s no reason why he can’t be on this, back on an artificial surface.

LINCOLN PARK is a narrow market leader at 5/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:35 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020).

It has been a long while now since Lincoln Park managed to put a victory on the board. What will punters make of that?

Well, despite not winning since last year, there were positive signs for him on his first run for Tom Danscombe last time out.

That was three weeks ago and Lincoln Park took second place of 14 in a handicap. That should have offered renewed interest in him.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

JOHN KIRKUP is usually one to follow and he has just hit top form. Because of that, we are making him the pick at 3/1* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:35 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020).

He scored last month, impressively so as well, at Pontefract. That’s put him at a slightly unfavourable position in the ratings for this one.

The other interesting player here is FOX HILL. She recently posted a runner-up finish at Musselburgh, producing a fine effort though to get close.

The ground is likely going to be more to her suiting here and she can’t be written out of this. The most recent win for her was three races ago at Catterick.

It is DESERT DOCTOR who is the current 5/2 favourite for this Kempton Handicap* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:35 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020).

He goes up 3lb in the ratings after scoring a victory just three weeks ago on his most recent run.

That was a course and distance, which gives him massive claims for this quality return. He had been trending towards that with improving form building to success.

Desert Doctor is not the only course and distance winner in the field, but he should enter the calculations here. At the very least strong place claims are there.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

EMBOUR looks to be a serious challenger in this one. He is another in this field who has a course and distance win behind him.

He was seen in action for his new yard recently, taking a fifth place finish in a field of 10 at Wolverhampton (handicap).

That was a couple of weeks ago and he’s come down 2lb for this step up to 6f. Strong claims are there. Embour gets the nod from 9/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:35 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020).

ROULSTON SCAR needs to bounce back, but he’s not to be dismissed lightly. He was last seen scoring at Nottingham in September, his penultimate race.

He followed that up with a really poor effort though. Roulston Star limped home right at the back of a 25-runner field at York.

The conditions were of absolutely no use to him. This will be his polytrack debut, so he should be sharper.

19:20 Kempton Handicap UK Racing Odds & Tips

Race Favourite

The race favourite for this final race of our Wednesday preview is CROWN POWER at 7/4* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 21:35 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020).

The unexposed youngster will be coming into just her third race. She scored a second place finish on a promising debut.

Then she immediately struck in her follow up fixture, an 11f maiden here at Kempton.

Crown Power comes into her handicap debut here and there should be plenty more progress to come from here. We see her getting in the picture as the probable favourite.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

MYSEVEN could feature strongly as well. She missed out on a hattrick on her last trip. She was battling some unfavourably heavy conditions in that fixture however.

So the switch back to the all-weather should play to her favour. Her last win was over course and distance after scoring in a Lingfield novice in September.

The final pick goes to the consistent GLENTIES who is generally there or thereabouts. He produced a second place finish on his last trip.

He has been in the blinkers for the last two efforts and that has had an effect as Glenties has placed in both. In a small field like this, he’s worth a look.
