Race Favourite
Heading up the market is BET AGAIN at 15/8* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 23:04 GMT on Tuesday, 9th June 2020). He looked to have found his feet again when taking a second-place finish at Will Rogers Downs back in April.
Bet Again has since switched stables. It has been one win and six place finishes from 12 efforts on the all-weather. Rated well enough to pose a big threat.
Tips
ZENDELPHIAN tanked on his last run at Delta Downs back in February. But that was the kind of run that punters should be able to find reason enough to brush aside. It was an anomaly from him and he has produced 9 race wins from 5f to 1m in his career. The distance winner should show up well in this company.
The big appeal comes in for WHATELSE IGOT TODO who has won two of his last three runs. The 5-year-old returns for the first time since February at Delta Downs scoring a win on his penultimate race there. He did have a couple of trips to Louisiana last year, taking a third place and a fourth-place finish.

That was just his third racetrack appearance, winning the other two, all on the all-weather. Worth supporting to bring the heat.
Tips
LENAPE DRIVE got the better of Club Soda in a contest when they met up at Fair Grounds in March. The continued some very consistent form that he has produced and the looks to be a very good fit for this kind of company again.
The highest-rated horse in the field is CLUB SODA who is looking for a bit of a bounce-back performance. In this company, he is worth noting, but his form has just been going in the wrong direction this year.
For us, WARRIOR’S GEM is stacks of value at 10/1* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 23:04 GMT on Tuesday, 9th June 2020) to make an impact. After heading into a break on the back of a win, he returned sharply in January to take a second-place finish at Fair Grounds.

Moving on to Race 3 this is a 6f trip switching back to the fast dirt at the venue. This is for 3-year-olds plus and there are 8 declared for the contest.
Race Favourite
HALFOURRETIRMENT is the 9/4 current favourite for this Louisiana Downs race* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 23:04 GMT on Tuesday, 9th June 2020). He was ticking along in the right direction with back to back runners-up places before being a beaten favourite on his last effort. That was at a shorter 5f at Fair Grounds. That can be excused and gets a spark perhaps in his first run for a new yard.
Tips
The form of LUCKY STREAKER is also there. He produced a thumping 9l victory in his last run. That was having been the favourite in a 6f contest at Delta Downs back in February. That was a run that made people sit up and take notice and has big claims from 11/2* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 23:04 GMT on Tuesday, 9th June 2020).
Our other pick to consider would be GUILTY AGAIN, who was underestimated at 66/1 by taking a fourth-place finish of eight at Delta Downs on his last run. He has scored within his last three runs and has to be respected for this contest, which to be fair, doesn’t look the highest of quality.

Tips
DOORAG JIMMY brings better form to the table than the outright favourite and looks a good fit from 8/1* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 23:04 GMT on Tuesday, 9th June 2020). It has been five races in his career so far and he hasn’t been outside of the top two in any of those. Was only beaten by a neck last time out. Big Claims
The other pick for the race is FATHER BRYAN who took a solid second place from a field of 10 in his last effort in March. That was a 5f effort, but he is a highly rated horse, perhaps just in search of a kickstart in form but the possibilities are there.

His form hasn’t quite been up there since a return, so the shake-up could suit him and he is the highest-rated horse in this contest.
Tips
CONFEDERATE YELL jumps off the page as an option in this one. There were a couple of wins produced by him at Fair Grounds in March. It’s hard to overlook that kind of form from the six-year-old. He wouldn’t be winning out of turn despite currently being at 11/1* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 23:04 GMT on Tuesday, 9th June 2020).
The other contender that we like the look of is HOLDTHISMISS. The 8-year-old is up for a new yard in his one for the first time. Due to be respected here despite a relatively lacklustre effort on his last run. The experience is there with 9 wins from 5f to 1m and has taken runner up finish in two of his last three.
