MALIO’S is the 5/2 front runner for this one* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 21:34 GMT on Thursday, 21st May 2020). He was a beaten favourite on his last trip, being pushed back down into fourth on a sharp 7F trip at the venue.
Malio’s has won two of his last four and both were under the same conditions on the 8F trip. He shouldn’t be far from the picture.
Tips
Worth some consideration is WILSHIRE STAR who is coming back to action after scoring at Tampa Bay Downs in a 7F claimer in early May. That was at a 10/1 price. On his last trip over 8F he was joint favourite but was beaten into fourth behind winner Brandt.
In three of his last five runs he has been bettered by Brandt, High Rolling Dude and Das Da One. But that run on his last trip was massively impressive by 6L.
GUERRERON at 8/1 can’t be overlooked here either* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 21:34 GMT on Thursday, 21st May 2020). He also scored in his last effort and this is an exciting 4 year old.
That win was at 8F at the venue and he has not done anything wrong recently, scoring twice in four runs and not having finished outside the top four.

Making the jump over to Gulfstream for the second pick of the day. This is a 1m trip on the fast dirt. The Claimer is open to 3 year olds and above and it’s a small field of six that has been declared.

In the most recent of those, she was a 5/6 beaten favourite, albeit in sloppy conditions at the track. She is making a serious drop in class here, so that keeps her at the head of the market.
Tips
COUNTENANCE is also taking a drop in class for this race. The 5 year old has been in stunning form recently. This will be her first trip for her new yard. She has won two of her last three trips at much higher levels than this contest.

The other that may have a chance in this one is 4 year old PAYNTER FEST. She scored on her last run, an 8F trip at Gulfstream as the 13/8F.
She has been a little up and down with her form, but that recent win was on her first effort for her new yard under Victor Barboza.

There is a big favourite for this one, that is the 11/10 TIZ APPROVED* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 21:34 GMT on Thursday, 21st May 2020). He is commanding the market and the 4 year old Gelding has been impressive.
He has scored on both of his racetrack appearances. The first was at the end of March, the other in early May, both at Tampa Bay Downs. Unexposed and dangerous sat on a hattrick
Tips
One of the threats to the young favourite should be WILL RUNAWAY at 6/1* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 21:34 GMT on Thursday, 21st May 2020). He is a consistent runner and hasn’t been out of the top four in any of his last five trips, scoring once in that sequence over 7F under the same conditions.
We would also take a look at ANDREW THE BULL in this company. He was fifth of ten on his last trip at 6F. That’s the distance where most of his work has been done and while his form is just drifting the wrong way, he has been in much better company than this and could enjoy himself on the class drop.

YOUR ROYAL COIL is the 13/8 favourite* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 21:34 GMT on Thursday, 21st May 2020). The form has been there from the 4 year old filly, although this will be her first effort for 63 days.
In her last two runs she has claimed a win at the venue and then took second having been joint second favourite with Boolicious was behind her. Those were at higher grades as well. She’s going to be tough to beat.
Tips
REMEMBER TO SMILE broke her maiden at the end of January having been the odds-on favourite for that particular contest. She will be back after a 91 day break and looks as if she can hold her own in this company.
The other to consider is DORITA’S LEMON. She is unexposed having just broken her maiden at the first attempt in late February. It was an impressive run however and the fact that she is sitting as a 5/1 contender in this speaks volume about that maiden success.

Tips
9 year old GRATZIE is carrying some good form having won two of her last five trips and also picking up two runners-up spots in that sequence. This is just about in her wheelhouse and can pull into the frame. She was second on his last trip and had Shari behind her.
14/1 outsider FREE MY SOUL is worth considering in this small field* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 21:34 GMT on Thursday, 21st May 2020). She is back from a 145 day break but two of her last three runs have been big Stakes races and that can’t be ignored.
