His last effort was fourth of sixth at Sunland. He is used to taking on much richer company than this and could be hard to beat coming back fresh. He’s not only coming down in class but in distance too.

RACE THE MOON is a wonderfully consistent runner having finished runner up in each of three races this year. So he has been knocking on the door and can get in the frame. In his last effort at Will Rogers Downs in late April, he pipped Fearless Will to second place, so there is an interesting renewal between the two.
FEARLESS WILL brings some claims. The 4 year old is relatively unexposed, certainly compared to the favourite. Fearless Will was third on his last effort, beaten to second by Race The Moon as mentioned. He had been the 11/8 F for that contest. Can he turn the tables in this effort over the same distance?

He has struggled to get back into the frame since, and his form has been going backwards. The fact that his maiden happened in much richer company, however, hints at the potential.

He has been improving rapidly and has gone 4-3-2 in his last three races. So he has been getting closer. There’s not quite the clear picture of his best going yet.

That was in mid-May in sloppy conditions at Will Rogers Downs. He is the least exposed runner in this field.
Tips
A serious contender is WESTERN DRAWL. The 6 year old gelding is a 16/1 each way option* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 17:19 GMT on Tuesday, 19th May 2020). But he comes back into action after scoring a good win in a field of 10 at the track in early May. That was over the 8F distance and from a 10/1 SP. Could get back in the money under the same conditions.
VIX VISION is a good consistent horse but is likely going to need to find a little bit more to come up with a win. He has been inside the top four in each of his last three trips. It’s been just the one run from him this year which saw him take 4th of 11 towards the end of April. That was after a 207 day break and could strip fitter for this contest.

Tips
This is a tough field to call with few in any great form. 6 year old LOOKIE LOO scored a 4th place finish of 9 in his last effort. That was under slower sloppy conditions however at the venue. It wasn’t a bad run at all that he put in having come back from a 565 day break.
