The Welsh need a big bounceback performance as they were played off the park against Australia last weekend in a crushing defeat. The Welsh lost 32-8 and the scoreline could have been bigger against them were it not for some desperate last ditch defending and some fluffs by the Australians in good attacking positions. The scoreline probably should have been a lot worse for the Welsh.

So they aren’t exactly a huge threat at the moment and they are trailing the head to head against Wales 5-10. The last time they met was back in 2013 when the Welsh ran out huge 40-6 winners on the day and the momentum really is with Wales who have won four of the last five meetings between the two. From their previous meetings, Wales have averaged 28 points per game against the Pumas, while in return Argentina have averaged 23 against Wales. So there have been pretty high scoring games between these two and the average points difference in meetings is only the five points in favour of Wales.
