Wasps will start the game third from bottom having collected only 11 points from their seven fixtures this season. Their second win of the campaign came at Bristol last Friday when they landed a dramatic late try to come away with a 26-21 victory. At the Ricoh Arena, Wasps have suffered back to back defeats.
They lost their last Premiership game there against Harlequins and then were toppled by Edinburgh in European action. Defensively they do look fragile in defence but there should be massive confidence behind them after that away win at Bristol. It snapped a four-match losing streak in all competitions.

After a three-match losing streak, consisting of back to back reverses against Leinster in the Champions Cup and then against Sale in the Premiership, Northampton took some relief last weekend. They came up with a 33-26 tense home win over Gloucester to leave themselves in second place in the standings going back into this weekend. That was a very good response from them to take down the Cherry & Whites. There has been a trend with Northampton’s fixtures, as each of the last six league games that the Saints have been involved in have been won by the home team.
