Werder Bremen News and Form – Will the River Islanders suffer another defeat?

Florian Kohfeldt’s Werder Bremen have struggled for wins this term, picking up a mere three victories from 15 Bundesliga matches. The River Islanders have lost seven and drawn five of the other 12. Bremen hover just above the drop zone in Germany’s top table.

Only Paderborn have picked up fewer home points thus far. Bremen have been pretty woeful on home turf this term, winning just one of seven. Overall, Kohfeldt’s troops have won one, drawn one and lost four to take five points from a possible 21 at the Weserstadion. Since beating Augsburg 3-2 on September 1st, Bremen have drawn two and lost three of five league games on their own patch.
