There was a lot of transfer speculation surrounding Marko Arnautovic before he signed a contract extension with West Ham. But did that unsettle the dressing room? On Tuesday night Manchester City suffered a shock of a defeat at Newcastle. Liverpool were fully expected to take advantage playing the following evening at home against Leicester. Liverpool only managed a 1-1 draw in the game against the Foxes. That was just the second time this season that Liverpool have failed to win a home game. They go out on the road on Monday evening with a trip to London.

Away from home, this season Liverpool are W9 D2 L1 for the term. After suffering a defeat at Manchester City at the start of January, Liverpool responded in their following away game by scraping out a 1-0 victory over Brighton. Really since the turn of the New Year, Liverpool have been finding the going just a little bit tougher.

But then they do have a tremendously strong record behind them this season. They have shown that they can grind out away wins and they may have to do so in this one. Liverpool have scored 23 goals away from home this season, which is just shy of an average of two per game.
