The West Indies are in Group A and will come up against world ODI champions England among others. Apart from Australia, England have the best win percentage of any country in the finals. They lost in the semi-finals in 2016 but were beaten finalists in both 2012 and 2014 and captain Heather Knight believes they are a much stronger outfit, physically and mentally, than the one that threw away almost certain victory against Australia in 2016.

England are only a best 8/13 to win Group A and secure their last place in the last four with the West Indies a best 11/4 – South Africa are 6/1.

Australia are 8/15 to win Group B with bookmakers unable to split India and New Zealand in the betting to go through to the semi-finals alongside the Aussies – both teams are 4/1 to win the section.

Australia are only a best 6/4 to win the Women’s T20 World Cup for a fourth time but ENGLAND look better value at 3/1 with Betway. They have genuine match-winners including Anya Shrubsole, who returned the best-ever figures in a World Cup Final last year with her 6-46. She plays at a consistent high level for Western Storm in Australia and England are currently back on the rise in the T20 rankings, trailing only Australia and New Zealand having beaten both of those countries over the last 18 months.

New Zealand are a best 15/2 with Betway and are no forlorn hope with the West Indies priced up at a best 8/1 to successfully defend their title.
