Bury registered an important three points at the weekend with a 1-0 home win over play-off candidates Burton Albion at Gigg Lane and no doubt tonight’s hosts will be looking to record back-to-back wins this evening which could lift them up into fifth place ahead of Burton.

Visitors Scunthorpe United were dealt a second consecutive defeat in League One at the weekend when they went down 2-0 at home to Bradford City which was on the back of a 2-1 loss away at struggling Swindon Town.
Indeed, Scunthorpe have lost three of their last five overall with an earlier loss to Gillingham on their travels, so tonight’s game could also pose The Iron plenty of problems as they look to improve upon their current away record which stands at 2-1-6 14/17.
Scunthorpe have lost four of their six matches away from home against top half opposition so far this season, along with keeping just one clean sheet in their last 26 away matches!
This last statistic makes me lean towards the hosts Bury here, but I advise taking the draw no bet option which still represents value in my eyes.
