Cameroon extended their unbeaten run of matches in all competitions to eight matches with a 1-1 draw against Burkina Faso in their opening Group A fixture in the Africa Cup of Nations, and they now face a Guinea-Bissau outfit who they’ll be confident they can get a result against.
Cameroon qualified for this year’s tournament thanks to wins over Mauritania and Gambia while they’ve also gained useful points in their recent World Cup qualifiers with stalemates earned against Algeria and Zambia.

Guinea-Bissau earned what could be a valuable point in their opening Group A match against Gabon in a 1-1 draw, and they’ll head into their encounter with Cameroon at the Stade d’Angondjé on Wednesday evening in a confident frame of mind.
Guinea-Bissau qualified for this year’s competition thanks to back-to-back wins over Kenya in 1-0 home and away wins along with a 3-2 home win over Zambia, and this is the first time that they’ve appeared at this level in their footballing history.
With that in mind, Cameroon have a much more extensive pedigree at international level, and so their experience should see them through in this clash by taking all three points in this important fixture.
