Tonight’s hosts Kortrijk earned a valuable point away from home at 7th placed Oostende on the weekend in a 2-2 draw and they’ll now be hoping to build upon this result by taking all three points when struggling Eupen visit their Guldensporenstadion tonight.
Kortrijk have been involved in some mixed results in the past few weeks as they’ve suffered defeats to Zulte-Waregem and Lokeren, but both of these losses were incurred away from home, whilst they managed an impressive 4-1 home win over Genk prior to back-to-back draws with Standard Liege and Oostende respectively.

Visitors Eupen scored a much needed win in the Belgian Jupiler League on the weekend when they beat Gent 3-2 at home which ended a run of four straight defeats in the Belgian top flight, and this result also lifted them away from the bottom of the table, for now.
Prior to this poor run of losses, Eupen had captured all three points in a 2-1 home win over Oostende, but it should be noted that two of Eupen’s three wins so far have come on home soil so far this term.
An away record of 1-0-5 8/17 shows where their weakness lies as they also possess the worst defensive record away from home in the Jupiler League as we head into this midweek set of fixtures.
