However, recent results suggest that they’re likely to fall short of european ambitions this season as they have now gone five Ligue 1 matches without a win, a run that includes defeats to Lorient, Nice and Caen.
The story doesn’t get any better away from home either as Guingamp have endured a six-match run without a win on their travels amidst an overall record of 2-4-6 16/20 having suffered losses at Saint-Etienne, Lorient and Nice.
Marseille, therefore, look the better equipped for the maximum haul here this evening.
