Morecambe and Daggers both to score

League One/Two Tips

MORECAMBE v DAGENHAM

Tuesday 1st December 2015 – Kickoff: 1945hrs

Football – England – League Two Betting Tips

Morecambe slumped to a fourth defeat in five matches on Saturday when they went down 4-3 away at Stevenage and The Shrimps now sit in a disappointing 17th place in League Two as a result.

Defeats to Leyton Orient, Plymouth Argyle, Cambridge United and Stevenage have cost them dear in terms of harbouring any ambitions they may have had of securing a play-off place (at least for the time being), but they do have a great chance of rectifying their current situation tonight with the visit of Dagenham.

Morecambe’s record on home turf reads a poor  3-0-6  16/19 having lost five of their last six at the Globe Arena, but goals have nevertheless been flowing at both ends with 25 goals scored during this six-match sequence!

Visitors Dagenham currently sit in 22nd place just one league place and one point above the relegation zone, but a recent win over AFC Wimbledon away from home along with taking a point against the mighty Plymouth Argyle at the weekend in a 1-1 draw will give them a much-needed boost for their trip up north tonight.

Despite an ordinary-looking away record of  2-3-4  11/17 going into tonight’s clash, Dagenham have in fact been scoring goals themselves on the road, in fact, they’ve scored in eight of their nine away matches so far this season.

Ever-green striker Jamie Cureton has again notched a few this term for The Daggers, and could be considered as a possible anytime goalscorer this evening.

Given Morecambe’s recent poor run of form and Dagenham’s ability to score goals on their travels, I’ll back both teams to score here tonight.
