Wednesday night brings us more action from the Spanish top flight and Real Madrid will be looking to preserve their slender lead at the top of La Liga this evening when they take on bottom half outfit Las Palmas at their Bernabeu Stadium.

Real Madrid now return to home turf where they possess an excellent 10-2-0 31/10 record in addition to racking up eight league wins on the trot. The mercurial talent of Cristiano Ronaldo (16 goals) along with support from Benzema (5 goals) and Bale (7 goals) should see the hosts off to a flyer.
Visitors Las Palmas would be forgiven for not relishing their trip to Madrid for this evening’s clash as they have lost five of their last six meetings with the Spanish giants, and Real Madrid now harbour real title ambitions this term as well.
To make matters worse, Las Palmas have lost their last four La Liga matches on the trot with defeats suffered against Granada, Sevilla, Malaga and Real Sociedad, and without any disrespect, the visit to Real Madrid will test them to their limits to even gain a point I daresay.
An away record of 1-2-8 11/24 should simply be not good enough to test Real Madrid in their own backyard, and I sense that tonight could see the hosts really unleash upon their opponents as they make a statement to Barcelona.
