Sheffield United suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Walsall last time out in League One but they’ll be hoping to bounce back on Saturday afternoon when they take on bottom half outfit Swindon Town at Bramall Lane as they look to keep in touch with the top two clubs in the division.
United currently sit in third spot behind league leaders Scunthorpe United and Bolton Wanderers but they’re only two points adrift of Bolton going into this weekend’s round of matches. Visitors Swindon Town sit in 18th spot ahead of their trip up north to Sheffield on Saturday despite two recent wins over Charlton Athletic and Bradford City although both of these victories were gained at their County Ground where they’ve won five of their ten league matches so far this term.
However, Swindon’s disappointing league standing this season is easily explained; an away record that stands at an ordinary 1-5-4 9/18 has let The Robins down this term and they face a difficult challenge of containing a Sheffield United side who are keen to maintain their challenge for an automatic promotion spot.
