Football – Spain – La Liga Betting Tips

Valencia face a difficult challenge in tonight’s encounter with Real Madrid as they look to break a six-match run without a win in the Spanish top flight.

‘Pretend’ manager Gary Neville is now under increasing pressure in his first ever real management job with Valencia (a top flight Spanish side) and I’m still scratching my head as to understand how he got the job in the first place!

Valencia have dropped to a very disappointing mid-table position as a result of this poor run of form , and another defeat tonight would be another nail in Neville’s coffin. However, the hosts still remain unbeaten on home turf with a record of  3-5-0  12/5 but they’ve drawn both of their games against top half opposition on home turf so far.

Visitors Real Madrid continued their blistering goalscoring form during the week when they beat Real Sociedad 3-1 at home following their 10-2 annihilation of Rayo Vallecano the match prior. Another win this evening would see them move top of La Liga on goal difference ahead of Barcelona who could only manage a draw away at Espanyol in a 0-0 stalemate.

Real Madrid have smashed a total of 19 goals in just their last five matches overall in the Spanish top flight which also includes a 4-1 win over Getafe and with the likes of strikers Ronaldo and Benzema ably supported by attacking midfielders Bale and Modric, Real Madrid could tear Valencia apart tonight.

Real Madrid’s away record stands at  4-2-2  16/7 and they’re the league’s highest goalscorers away from home to date which could also be an important factor in deciding the outcome of this encounter.
