Visitors Crystal Palace held Everton to a 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park during the week but Alan Pardew’s men may now have to endure a few nervous weekends between now and the end of the season as they’re now just eight points ahead of Sunderland with five matches remaining.
The Eagles have managed just one win from their last 16 Premier League matches which is in stark contrast to the start of the campaign which saw Crystal Palace occupying a top half position in the English top flight.
But the rot has well and truly set in but thanks to their form earlier, The Eagles should still be safe in their bid to avoid a relegation dogfight in the last couple of weeks of the season.
