Thursday night’s game in the Australian top flight features a fixture between third placed Brisbane Roar and runaway A-League leaders Sydney FC at the Suncorp Stadium as the visitors look to extend their amazing unbeaten run in this campaign.
Brisbane Roar collected a second league win on the trot last weekend when they registered an important 2-1 win over Western Sydney Wanderers although they needed a slice of luck through a horrendous goalkeeping error which handed them all three points, and this followed a previous match win away at Wellington Phoenix.

Sydney still remain unbeaten throughout this campaign and are actually unbeaten in their last 18 matches overall in the Australian top flight, while their record away from home has been exemplary with stats of 8-1-0 23/5.
The Sky Blues have also won their last five away matches on the trot with wins gained at Newcastle Jets, Perth Glory, Adelaide United, Central Coast Mariners and most notably, Melbourne Victory.
