Leicester City were close to a return to last season’s emphatic form when they secured a vital three points at the King Power Stadium with a 3-1 home win over Liverpool on Monday night which ended a miserable run of five straight defeats in the Premier League.
It’s been a very tough season for Leicester City who have had a target on their backs throughout this campaign following last season’s capture of the Premier league title which was achieved against all odds, and manager Claudio Ranieri has been one of the recent casualties as he was relived of his duties which was a bitter pill to swallow.

Hull City were denied a valuable three points last weekend when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley which has resulted in The Tigers dropping into the bottom three ahead of this weekend’s Premier League action.
Having recorded four of their five Premier League wins at their KC Stadium, Hull’s form on home turf appears to be their best chance of avoiding the drop, particularly when you take a look at Hull’s poor away record which stands at 1-2-10 6/28.
Twelve away matches without a win (which includes ten defeats) means that it could be a long afternoon for the Tigers, especially if Leicester find their mojo again today.
