Match day 2 sees a top of the table clash in Group B between hosts and Greek side Olympiakos taking on close neighbours APOEL from Cyprus in what could be one of the games that decides the outcome of this qualifying group, despite this being early in the proceedings.

Visitors APOEL head into tonight’s encounter in a confident frame of mind following their weekend romp away at Aris winning 3-0 in the Cypriot 1 Division, but they’ll be facing far superior opposition here tonight.
APOEL opened their Europa League Group B account with a 2-1 home win over Astana and if they can get a positive result in Greece this evening, this will go a long way to seeing the Cypriot outfit take a step towards the knock-out rounds.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves here because when you look a little deeper, you’ll find that APOEL have lost their last five matches away from home in this competition, and indeed have failed to win in their last eight on their travels at this level.
