Ross County wikl go in search of a fourth consecutive win in all competitions this evening when they take on Hearts in a top half clash in the Scottish Premiership with both teams chasing a valuable three points.
In the Premiership, County have registered three wins from their last five overall with wins over Dundee, Kilmarnock and Motherwell, while their home form stands at 7-0-5 25/19 as the hosts seem to have adopted a win-or-lose strategy on home turf!
There’s also been plenty of goals at their Global Energy Stadium with no fewer than 9 of their 12 home matches resulting in over 2.5 goals so far this season. Strikers Boyce and Curran look the most likely anytime goalscorers for the hosts tonight.
Visitors Hearts have a useful eight-point buffer over their hosts Ross County and tonight’s visitors have also put together a six-match unbeaten run which has lifted them up into third place. However, they still remain a massive 14 points shy of Celtic and Aberdeen who sit top and second respectively in the Premiership.
Hearts’ away record stands at 4-5-3 15/12 but they’ve now gone five matches without a win having drawn four and lost once during this recent sequence. I daresay they’ll be keen to put in a better shift tonight though as this is a match they’ll fancy taking maximum points from.
There’s been plenty of goals where Ross County have been concerned, and so I’ll back more tonight with both teams chasing a win.
